What do you think about how tennis is played now?  | |  I made an observation on how tennis is currently played. I guess tennis now is played through power. In the men's tennis, the currently ranked number 1 plays with so much power is every shot that he makes. Consequently, the same thing is also true for womens. Have you noticed that for most of the majors, it is usually won by the Williams sisters.
I guess sometimes its kinda frustrating how matches are played right now. Gone are the long rallies and variations in the techniques. Most of the rallies are ended in just 3-5 shots.
I would like to see tennis played where players display their skills in variations. It adds more to the quality of the games and actually satisfies the fans. Have you noticed that it is only through long rallies where fans interests are demonstrated.
What do you think guys? Do you prefer tennis before or how it is played right now?

Rafa the power bomb, hitting the ball in 250k's makes the opponent struggle to get it in time. there lies the trick. Federer even having all the tricks with him cant win the power. You need power and stamina to win tennis. Nothing needed.. if the opponent plays spin above the net the hitter can easily reach it with his speed and send it back which makes the opponent to stuggle and surprise..

 onlineraket (119) | 9 months ago | Yes. Federer has been struggling to win against Nadal nowadays. Nadal has improved a lot. His power returns are just too much for any of the other players right now. And also he is left-handed.
But I am also looking for him to develop his other skills. If he can advance into something then he can really dominate the sports. | |
