Do you say "THANK YOU" after someone helped you?

Yes, surely I will 'thanks' the person who have helped me. It shows our gratitude towards that person for his/her kindness on us. Not all people help us. Some just ignore whether the problem is small or large. But some people are very kind. It feels like they come to Earth to help others. I have seen many who feel happy while helping others.
Once I was in problem & my close relative helped me in that. When I said 'thanks' to her, she said don't thank me. If we can't help our owns, then who will. I was really touched by that feeling that I hugged her.

hmm i guess yea i really like it to say it coz its shows ur personality and ur judegment of how good u feel when someone help u.

yes i say thnx to the person who help me, as it is a sign of respect to others, and it is very compulsor to keep up a relation...:)

Yes, I say thank you to people who help me. It is one way of saying that you appreciate their help plus mannerism.

Hi there Rite. Yes I do say thank you when someone help me no matter what kind of help that may be. Being polite to others and showing how we appreaciate that they gave a helping hand is to say thank you. When I help someone i demand for a thank you too. In that way is like teaching them to say thank you. I just hope they remember it and use it again

Of course I do too, it is not only a politeness but also to show your appreciation towards the person's help.

There is a cleaning young lady at my work, everytime she comes into my office to collect the garbage from the little garbage bin, I always said hi and after she collected the garbage, I said "Thank you". To me, I am no different than her, I am a human being and so is she and we should appreciate each other for helping us out. I do the work to help others who might be directly or indirectly involved and she does the work to help me and others around to clean-up. That's my way of life, should always be appreciating others for helping me in one way or another.

hello friend..yes, i do always thank to someone who has helped me.. like recently, when my daughter been bitten by a dog, one of my closed friend in the office hand me a money for my allowance going to the hospital..i'm so touched because he's very good to me, maybe he has feelings for me but he's not taking advantage on me, it's just he wanted to help me in any way.. i thank him of what he has done, the money realy a big helped for me.. he said that he's happy because he makes me happy for helping me.. i always thank him.. happy mylotting..

For me yes I do say thank you after wards, small or big favor I do, and helping me to I say thank you. Saying thank you it comes from the heart and you mean it,for me it's an appreciation that when you needed it they were there and it's not easy to find people who are there in times of problems or anything else.
