Hello, let me in, I just dont know to post so that I colleceted only $5,4 for my 3 years membership. Dogma is dogma which can not be changed, I think banning condoms is just for birth limitation or contraseptic aids it has nothing to do with AIDS. the context is condom as birthcontroler but when it means as healthy equipment it should be allowed while free sexual connection is still not allowed according the teaching too. Banning condoms did not mean to let AIDS spreding the world, it should be difference case.

They have to ban condoms... The church needs all the SHEEPLE it can get! Present studies show a significant loss in membership & a 15% increase in non organized religions.

Breed all ye sheep & bring your offspring into the flock, the collection plates are empty.

christian teachings and vatican's actions are always contrary to normal human behaviour. they seem not to understand the basics of anything. nothing better should be expected from vatican. forcing a ban on believers, the pope has committed a criminal offense for which he should be punished. it seems the pope is out to eliminate human life from earth and has taken up the task on behalf of Devil/Satan.

you say you are religious but you use condoms, is not a good decision, although religion ever says you can do this in any religious books.while discussing this issue

Yeah, it is just belief. We can choose anything to make us having fresh sprit and mind. It seems to be difficult to understand with some people.

i wonder what has condoms got to do with religion, spritituality and god.
it is a ridiculous idea. its has been going on ever since condoms were invented.
pope should understand condom has several uses other than for sexual intercourse.

if pope is really powerful man, then he can stop the manufacturing of condoms. why is he not doing it?

if he is against condoms then he should be against the birth control pill too. but so far no statements against the use of birth control pill. hope he will soon come out against it after reading my comment here.

I would read that link later on. But I am of the view "why to use them". I had never
used them. If one finds out real root cause, one would oneself find in-line with Pope.
Let's learn to control one self. Let';s know, what nature says. Let's always true to
our married life. Let's make one life long good partnership relation with "Wife" only.

In the Pope, there is the desire for people to respect the marriage vows so that the fabric of society can be preserved in the traditional ways that he believes are the best ones, the tried and true ones well known from his own youth.
There also is the thought that to hamper the birth of a child is not a good thing and that those who have sexual relations outside of marriage are not acting as they should...
The ban on Condoms is an attempt to give these messages.
It is iconoclastic, perhaps seeming out of date, and even myopic, but it is the remark of someone who is seeing a disrespect for sexuality and the easy "just do it" thought in the media, a dissolving of marital relationships, and who is trying to serve as a father figure for lots of his "kids" (Practicing Catholics who are acting like delinquents in his opinion.
His thought apparently is, in my words not his, "Take away that which makes it easier to have intercourse without the commitment of marriage."
Unfortunately for him, the public will look at the condom ban and see it as being anti- the common good and anti good health measures.
And those of us who have used this method of birth control in the past will be given one more thing to alternatively feel guilty about and to laugh at.
