Is she happy being single or does she want to be married? That's what you need to answer first. If she's happy the way she is, leave her alone.

Does your husband have any friends at work that would be interested in someone like your friend? You'll have to know all about them in order to decide if it is a good match. Then ask them if they would like to date a woman like your friend--if they are looking. Many men just want to be single.

Hi HiLia, since your friend is so sociable and knows lots of friends, as well as what you have said she is not ugly as well, so I think she won't feel any difficulty to find a new one later. You better tell her mother the truth that you are only a housewife and of course you don’t have much opportunity to meet suitable male friends to introduce to her daughter.

You have to explain to her mom as well to give her some more time. May be her daughter still needs some time to forget all those past sweet time to heal her broken heart. Sometimes it really needs more than a year or so to readjust her former life which she used to stay together with her old flame to be as normal again.

It is really a torture to promise someone whatever thing which is not within our ability to deal with. I believe you would feel at ease again. It is as easy and simple by just telling her the truth.

To be honest with you I wouldn't bother as its her life and its up to her for finding her own b/f, she is old enough to that by herself and if you do find her one and she don't like him, then she will blame you for it. Love anbd hugs.

If you perchance know of someone that she would be interested in and that he would be interested in her, then introduce them. If you don't know of someone all you can do is wait until you do meet someone to introduce her too. You can just keep it in mind, but no need to go out of your way to find her a date.

I'd not get involved if I were you. It almost never works out long term. If it is meant to be that your friend have someone in her life then it will happen. Interference from you or anyone will not make it last. I can only think that it would be bad to do this. My mom was set up and she married him after knowing him for 3 months. She stayed married to him for 10 years.. but he cheated on her a lot... so it doesn't work.

Hello HiLia! All I can say is that don't pressure your self in being a match maker. I mean you can help her if you can but if you can't then it's ok. I believe if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. You said she is warm and friendly so I am pretty sure that with that characteristics she has, it's easy for her to find the man who will love her.

I don't even like to match make because I don't want to be blame if the relationship won't work out.
