Who is better on an all time level, Macho Man Randy Savage or Sting?

During the early years of my unheard life, I watched the two wrestlers. They have their own style and means of entertaining the crowd. I don't really know in an intimate way who's the better wrestler between the two. What I can say is that they are both good at what they do. Age has caught up with them and they can't perform what they used to do during their prime!

Sting had a good two or three years where he was the man but I'd say Randy Savage ran longer and harder at and near the top. Randy feuded with Hulk Hogan in Hogans true hay day where as Sting feuded with Hogan years after Hogan's big WWE title run and Hogan's big WWE run.

Sting has by far has the better career and for numerous reasons. Savage needed the WWE to push him to become a superstar. Sting didn't. Sting is considered an all-time great and he's never worked for the WWE. That is a hard thing to accomplish in the wrestling business. Also, Macho Man was held down because of Hulk Hogan's politics and thus couldn't become all that he should have been. Sting has been the franchise player of WCW and if it weren't for Sting, TNA would have a hard time standing on its own two feet. They needed his name value. Sting is a franchise. I always wished he did wrestle for the WWE. There are so many matches that never happened that would have been a treat to see.
