Do you make your own jewelery?  | |  I have been collecting gems and minerals for several years now and have finally decided to try to do something with all the minerals/gems that I have either mined or aquired. my 1st thought was what can I do and the easiest for me was to start cabbing some of the minerals. (Finally bit the bullet and took a workshop on making cabachons).
Do you make your own cabachons or facet your own gems or do you just buy them premade for you?

Some of the sea glass I find at the beaches in New Jersey, while other pieces are either private purchases from long-time collectors or trades with collectors that are looking to add some NJ sea glass to their collections.
Like yourself, I decided to use some of my collection to make one-of-a-kind jewelry, but I have thought about using gems/semi-precious stones to my creations.
