If there would be a war, what would you do?

I tried to join the army a short while ago but various medical conditions kept me from being able to join. I certainly would go to war. Any opprotunity that i could have to kill people and be trained to do it well would be near the top of my list

I'm too old to join and my husband has already served...in Vietnam...and is too old as well. As long as you're healthy and aren't a violent criminal, I see no reason why you couldn't join the army if a war started and you wanted to serve your country.

Hi volkus, good day to you mylotter, well me since i was kid i really love game toys like those green plastic material army. I really love playing that kind of toys because you can use your imagination to play them and you can apply a strategy move in that kind of toys. Well now that i am in 3rd year college and no longer a kid. I also thinking like you, about what if there is a war here and your country need people to depend your nation, and you were asking to join? Well me if that thing happens, i will go join because being a citizen of my country, i must depend it and give my best to protect it. Many peoples became a hero by sacrificing there lives to do good things. Well here in our country there are many heroes which is i idolized because of there braveness. And i also want to be just like them, in order for me to be called a hero, i must do my best and save lives of others. Undoubtedly i do have very big problems. However i am not going to deny that i have a primal urge to kill. It is not something that i would just go out and do but if i joined the army or something to fight in a war i would definietely want to be killling some people

no no no i would only kill if put in a situation where it was warranted. I think too many people lie about these primal urges they have deep within them. I was beaten as a child but that has nothing to do with it. Killing is an integral part of war and if put in that situation i would kill. And being honest if i was to join the army or something it would be so i could satisfy this urge. But i certainly wouldn't kill you. You have an eternal "david please don't kill me if you see me in the desert" pass ok?:)

Iwould ask why the war started. i don't think it would really matter to me why it started as it would be completely exigent circumstances that would have nothing to do with my i am personally there. No national pride or anything would put me there. Just the opprotunity to kill. I know this is a very jaded view and i thank you for not being dismissive to my thoughts as terrible as they may be. Why people are told that wars start and why wars start though are two different things. Someone may say this dictator has weapons of mass destruction as a ploy to start a war with another country. However his ulterior motive would be to finish a war that his father started. Now would not go to fight in this war to support that.

In fact, I get to think about this issue many times because I live in a country that is under a threat of war on a daily basis ever since the country was born.
I live in Israel and we surrounded with enemies, so war is something that frightening all Israeli citizen (and also the citizens of the neighbor countries).
In Israel, every 18 years old must go to the army in order to serve our country. There is a law that evryone must go to the army to protect our country and many of us know how is it to be in the army and to fight in wars.

I think that war is something awful. It's stupid and sad and I wish it all will end someday. War causes only for damage and for sadness and ther is nothing good at war. But until all wars in the world will end, I feel I have to help in protecting my country.
