who is melchizedek  | |  its really educating if i get to get posts from mylotters pertaining issues that worry me.. please the bible tells us about a man called melchizedek in hebrews and it also tells us that this man is without father, mother, beggining of life nor end of days... does this mean this man is God, the same hebrew also tells us that jesus christ was made a priest according to the order of melchizedek. What does that imply?

| | 2.  FundamentalCharlie (357) | 10 months ago |  This is one that has left me at a loss more than once. The best I have to offer is that it is widely considered as a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ. This is similar to the one with whom Jacob wrestled til dawn.
Recall that he said, "...for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." Gen. 32:30 Melchizedek is hard to nail down, (at least for me). I need to spend more time working on this as I hate loose ends. Still, if God desires that I understand, I know He will have the Holy Spirit open my eyes to it.
