I love taking photos.

There are several sights online that allow photographers to sell their best shots and also pay per view so if you have albums you can direct your friends and family to those albums and be paid for every view, which is cool. I isn't much but it adds up over time. One site that I know of also allows you to monetize your albums by using Bidvertiser.

There are stock photo sites always seeking new talent too. Check your favorite search engine for make money+stock photos and see what you get back.

The possibilities are endless to cash in on your photography offline.
Think about it.
Don't limit yourself to a digital camera but also make use for a video camera as well to widen your business pursuits.

Advertise to take photos for weddings, birthdays, Christmas and so on.
Be sure you have some awesome photo editing software available. Some may like thier photos put to a digital album that can be burnt to a CD. Add music and such for a nice added effect.

Make yourself available for people who have items for sale, such as cars, furniture and stuff that they want to sell. A photo increases exposure rates by far.

Avail yourself to those who don't have a camera but would like pictures of their animals or from a special event such as a horse show, dog show, craft show and the like.

Become an investigative reporter.

Take photos for advertisers. If you are really good, start a modeling agency. Become an agent/photographer or proposition modeling agencies, car dealerships and other businesses.
Advertise that you are available to take pictures for people who want to get into modeling but need a few 8X10's to start out.

Find a subject that sells such as beautiful women draped over cars and make calendars. Car shows are a great place to find people who would like their cars featured in next years calendar. Finding girls maybe a task but that would depend on ones connections. You would only need half a dozen to twelve.

Shoot photos of property, houses or commercial building for management companies or for those who would like to sell their home.

Photography companies that are contracted for schools look for new photographers annually. This is a great opportunity to get some great experience and free training in that genre.

These are a few ideas. Find what works for you and hone in on it to make it your specialty and soon people will be banging your door down for your services as a sought after photographer.

EvrWonder has given you much to go on with. Many people make quite a good living from their photography, but most do not get back nearly as much as they spend on their hobby.

Sales of things like T-Shirts and mugs with your photos on them are a practical option (CafePress and Zazzle..,com are good sites for this); stock photo sites tend to require large files of high quality photos in large numbers (1000+ pics) before you start to generate any income (try shutterstock or istockphoto).

There are a lot of sites offering pay-per-click and the like: shun them~ they pay virtually nothing and many demand the copyright to you photos in return for their "service".

of course..yes you can build a photo and video in your city or province if you own a digital camera with high resolution and a video with high definition too..at start we are just using this digital camera of ours, restricted for family outings only, and some family freinds gatherings but now i realize why not try to be a photographer freelancer in that way i can make use of my talents and out of it..it helps me too.

One idea is to photograph peoples collections so that they have a record of what they have for insurance. You can take photos and try to sell them to local papers. You could offer to take photos of special events or parties for people. You can take group photos of teams etc.
