Photo folders

Your photos are beautiful! I especially like the second one 'Guilin' it's awesome and I would love to see it in reality. Now wouldn't you like to have a folder just for this particular category of photos?

I am a new here, I haven't how to do it.
I will learn it in next days.

It took me a long time to get a digital camera too MysD, but I prefer to use my mobile phone camera, it's quicker. Don't you have one?
lol, I like to keep the desktop clear, only put applications on there, but my 'documents' folder can get in a mess with odd scraps, but every once in a while I clean up. I even have folders for scraps! Work station gets a bit untidy but that's tided and cleaned along with the housework. A lot of people hate to have things tidied, as you, they know exactly where everything is within that muddle!

My cell-pnone is one of the first Nokia models that came on the market. At that time they only made phone calls and sent text. When this one packs up I've already got another to replace it - exactly the same as this one cos it was cheap

I have 9 folders for all my papers, bills etc. and gave them all thier special little pic, I particularly love the one for council tax with the targetted vicitm! ROFL. (not sure if it's visible in the pic) Spotlight, that's new to me, but I always seem to remember where files are on my PC, but then they do say the human brain is more complex than any computer, (even although I have to dig deep)Do you agree with that? there are some very powerful computers out there now, maybe the statement is outdated, I don't think my brain functions in nanoseconds lol

Spotlight is an Apple product. If you have Windows you won't have it I am afraid.

I don't know. I'll have to ask my computer! Yes of course it is. Computers do simple things very fast. But they need to be told what to do. The brain can enable us to do things instinctively and process huge quantities of data every time we think, see or feel.

ahhh of course, we command them, who knows, maybe they will think for themsleves one day! God Forbid! AI on the up

It's great to be organized, I can't stand clutter. Our photos are displayed by most recent upload, it would be nice to have a particular photo, or folder in the order we want them displayed. thanks

I was told from a friend here in the Lot that you can make suggestions to MyLot, but for the life of me I can't find it. Only place I can think of it contacting them through the usual means, but I havent had a reply to more important issues so what's my chances of recieving a reply to that? zilch! lol
I have only looked in the photos section once and seen tons of them! so that put me off browsing, so yes, I believe yo uare right about one large file, a little more organization in there would be a good idea. On a personal level, it's just so that I can keep myself organized. Thanks hon.

I was thinking about it again yesterday as I was in my photos deleting and uploading and hated deleting some that may be relevant again, like the ones of the cats I used to have. MyLot have said they do have big plans for the future so hopefully something like this will be included. Thanks for responding hon.

I don't download much from the internet, only stock photos for using in discussions. I mainly take photos of my family and friends and consider them to be the best I have. I see you have only uploaded your profile photo to myLot, but if you upload more wouldn't you like to keep them in separate folders?

Sure if i want to download then i can go for option unless i don't want to go and i will keep another folder to that one.

A collection of related data or program records stored as a unit with a single name. Files are the basic units that a computer works with in storing and retrieving data. Folders help us to orgnize them in such away that they can be located easier. Oh no! depending on a man! Lost in cyberspace, that's worse than a black hole! hahaha

Well I guess using other websites is the norm for most of us, but it would be nice to have them here in MyLot too, and be able to comment back and forth on them. It's odd not being able to reply to a comment on one of your/my own photos.

That saying reminds me of a horror film, where the husband ended up chopping up the nagging wife and storing all the 'bits' in jars neatly on shelves .. it could've been 'twighlight zone' or 'tales from the crypt' or some similar program ... at least he was neat and tidy about it! lol
