Remember the First Time you have Surfed the Internet in the Philippines?

Maybe its the same thing with me, I signed up for yahoo when I was in college and was instructed to have an email address. Until now I'm still using it and its my primary email. That was 10 years ago=p

Well yes. I was an elementary student back then. I can't recall it as much details as you did but all I can remember is that the very first thing that I used the internet is chat. LOL. After getting bored with chat, RAGNAROK. The very first MMORPG launched and it was the only MMORPG online back then.

It was an experience that is really memorable because i came to know about email, chat and research. The first time i experience using internet was in our school. I was in third year College and i was happy to surf the internet for some e books as to what we call it.

I created a lot of email address for my friends, and then for myself and i was also into research for books. I was able to talk to some people but i don't seem to see them yet since webcam was not yet in trend.

But for me, talking to people on the other side of the world was like monumental and i was happy to see the other side of the world by what people experience as what they told me. Happy Mylotting!

Hello inkyuboz! I guess the first time I learn about the internet was june of 2004. It was the time I was first year college. Yes, I was first year college when I learned to surf on the internet. My sister is the one who made me an account in yahoo and after learning how to chat, I became addicted to it..hehehe

Hi inkyuboz, good day to you . . . Well me i think the site that i surfed throuhh the internet is the yahoo site then the next is the friendster. I think i am only in second year high school when i have tried, surfing through the internet and the thing that i did was just to sign up to yahoo and next is in the friendster site,because during that time the friendster is very popular for the earning friends online, because at the first, i am thinking that it is very impossible to earn friends through the internet, but after signing up and chatting to other people. I gained friends online. And i feel really great believing it. Then when my friends told me that you can also earn through internet, i go believe him and we go find jobs through the internet. Like here in this site mylot, at first i really believe until i got my first payment here online and i feel again the happiness . . . And i am very thankful to my friend that told me about this site and other earning site. Now i am still enjoying earning online and making hard just to earn. . . And i still believe that if i do not try to use internet in the past, i will not know this kind of online job here in the internet. Dude, 9 years ago was 2000. I was already in college that time and I've already been using the internet for quite some time. The first time I used the internet was when we dialed up to a server and retrieved my cousin's email. We used EdsaMail back then and popular online games were telnets. Also, the only popular chat program was mIRC and that's what we always use to interact with other people.

We're the same about the first sites we surf on the net. I completely remembered to ignorant and funny day of my first time to surf the net way back on my high school dayts. It was the friendster who influence me to surf the net cause I heard that many girls and also my crushes have that friendster thing already so I went to a computer shop not knowing how to create an account.
Then I ask the shop manager how can create an account, he ask if I have an Email account, I ask him too, whats that? Lol, completely ignorant right?, Then he said I should have yahoo mail account so he took me to yahoo and sign up for an email account.
Then later on sign up on friendster.
Not knowing I'm out money, I ask to shop manager if I already accumulate 1 hour then he tell me I'm approaching my second hour of surfing. I don't know how could I tell him that I don't have enough money to pay for 2 hours of surfing so I tell him I'll be back later on to pay but I never went to that shop any more:)

Ok lemme see, I remembered turning the call waiting function of our phone off, then hooked my modem to the phone line and the computer. I remembered hearing my modem's tone dial screeching until it finally connected. Once I got connected, I clicked on internet explorer and waited like forever for it to load. When I got it on I typed msn.com and created my first email address, @hotmail of course. Then it's time for surfing, visiting sites like nfl.com, nba.com, and a host of other stuffs I won't list in here . It was the looooooongest wait to get something loaded back then as it still was dial-up, nowadays with broadband connection, surfing the web is a breeze.
