Yes, i agree with you very much. Personally, even if i have spare money that i can spend for my needs, i will just buy toys for my kid. maybe not all mothers are like that. but i do love my kid so much that i won't mind not being able to buy a new pair of jeans even my jeans doesn't fit me anymore.

Yes I agree I am always giving to my son, things and I put myself last all the time, but now that he is 18, I still give to him, but I also let him know he has to do for himself so he can survive, because I want him to be successful in life, I feel that if you teach your child, to be independent thing will come out good for them.

I agree with you. I think everything has a change after having a child. My child will be the most important for me. For example, I pay attention to his birthday rather than mine. I tend to buy more for him rather than myself.

Hi, zabawaus! Yes, when you have a child your needs does come second. I have three kids and my need comes second after all of them. Believe me they do! Th life that you used to have in the past no longer exists. If a woman cares about her kids she will not leave them on others just to go out and party and get drunk. She should enjoy her life without taking risks. She can still have fun but she should do so in a respectable manner for herself and her child. When a woman becomes a mother she has responsibilities to another human being that can't just be placed on the back burner! I am glad that your mindset is there. When you do decide to have kids, you will be ready to handle being a new mother.
