How old is your other daughter?

All of my kids were totally potty trained by the age of 3. My first born was traind in the daytime before he was even 2! I don't know how this happened. I would just put a diaper on him at night and he did stay dry most of the time, but it was easier than worring about accidents.

When my kids were trained during the day, I would stop giving them liquids after dinner and this helped with them staying dry over night. When the stayed dry a whole week, then I went to the underware. They had very few accidents.

I have 2 daughters. the oldest is 3 & she was potty trained at 2 1/2 but she always wore pull ups to bed. She just recently started wearing her underwear to bed & it was her idea. She has had a few accidents here or there in the past 2 months but not often. My youngest daughter turned 2 in january & is just now starting to pee on the potty, but she is not real enthusiastic about it. I keep telling her she has to learn to pee on the potty to start preschool in september, but she just isnt excited. She knows now when she needs her diaper changed, so i feel she is having good progress. I dont think pushing them is a good idea. I think it will make them more determined to be defiant about it & then you have to start all over.

my daughter is 3.5 and she is potty trained and all but refuses to wear underwear at night so we continue with the pull ups. But we are at our wits end how to get her to start wearing her underpants at bedtime too. Any suggestions? My sister's son was potty trained when he was 2!
