summa c*m laude....  | |  In our town, a famous university has two summa c*m laudes after many, many years of not having any.
One of them has a very interesting life story which he openly shares with everyone. He comes from a very, very poor family. In fact, according to him, it was for this reason that he did his best to succeed.
In Grade School they were so poor they could not even afford to have electricity in their house. In order to be able to study, he would sit near a street lamp post so he could study his lessons. Inspite of this and other challenges having to do with their being poor, he emerged as a consistent honor student. He recently graduated with the highest award in college, Summa c*m laude, with a degree that is hard to beat, Physics.

The movie was based on a true story of a young woman who worked to get a full scholarship to Harvard University on the streets. She lived in a homeless shelter and washed dishes at night to get by. The New York Times selected her to receive a full scholarship. Liz is an exceptional lady!

There are other much more complicated and interesting.. As I had read this story is was kinda, amazing for such a person who experiences hardship in such a young age plus he decided to go on with his dreams, firmly holding to it until he succeed, its so good to hear that within those several years, he did not give up, did lose hope and did not falter to his dreams... thanks for sharing..

The doctors told his parents that he would be dependent on the machines for as long as the parents could afford to run them. But he proved the doctors wrong ... prob`ly ...
