|  I have blogged about this coming since mid last year it is ready to bite all Americans right on the butt,there has been no public resistants and congress it ready to pass it in to law,all adults including senor citizens will have to registrar for Obama's national civilian security task force,Obama say's it will be larger then our current military count,R U READY AMERICAN CITIZENS?
Congress appears ready to pass an Obama administration plan that could create mandatory public service requirements for all American youth, fulfilling a campaign promise.
The bill, HR 1388: The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, otherwise known as the "GIVE Act," has already passed the House by a vote of 321-105.
On Tuesday, the Senate voted closure on the motion to proceed by a margin of 74-14 in a move that makes its ultimate passage likely.
The bill, promoted by the Obama administration as a means of encouraging America's youth to participate in voluntary community service, has received little scrutiny from Congress or the public.

| |  Bills like this have been proposed for as long as I can remember. They usually get some notice and them die a quiet death in committee.

| | I hope that your right but not so sure,I went back to re read the article and they have taken it down because it is now the morning addition that posted and that was the last nights addition.
The article said it has passed the house 74-14 and congress is set to pass the bill in to law. | | | |

| | It is me again,the article is at www.worldnetdaily.com I just over looked it when I went back to read it,well no mandatory service is good,the article said congress is ready to pass it in to law,these are not normal times and it is very questionable if the man sitting behind the oval desk even is an American citizen,which means any bill or law he signs or passed is illegal because he is sitting in office of president against the United States constitution,making his bills and laws void.

| |  They really are being sneaky with this one aren't they. I heard about it on the Glenn Beck radio program the other day. I'm against it and will be letting my reps know it too. Here where I live before the kids can graduated from high school they have to do a community service project and write a report about. This sounds like the start of a way to indoctrinate our young people.

| |  people need to wake up and now. Call your elected officials NOW and tell them not to vote for this. Mandatory service is slave labor. YOu are being told what you are going to do. Where is the choice? There is not one. Stand up for yourself and your children.
Personally if this passes I will stop doing volunteer work in protest. What are they going to do? Send the 'volunteer police" after me? My children are small but when they get older I will not have them doing it. I am their parent. I make the decisions on what they are going to do. NOT the federal government.

| |  I have two that fall within this age. One is disabled and the other is just as stubborn as him mama. Heck, all my kids are stubborn. LOL
To me, this is beyond sick and no one should stand for it.

| | I found the bill or I think I did it seems some what muddled maybe you all can read the article at world net daily and find the bill on line see what you make of it.
Please post back at this discussion and fill us all in so we all can be informed as what really is up.
It sounds like this is going to be mandatory for adult and youth and I have read even our seniors citizens,I think how they can enforce it is for people that get federal and state payments like SSI,S.S. and so forth they can with hold funds,they will do it through the pocket book.
I have asked world net daily to form a petition on their site for the people to sign and begin to form a million man plus march in protest of the Obama administration from taxation,new laws,eligibility and so forth,I really do belive the American people have to stand up and speak out be on the computer and blogging we have to march on this adminstration and we don't have a lot of time as they are wroking at ligthing speed to pass these laws on us before we know it.
go to the national tea arty site and click your state to see the listings for tea partied on April 15,they have planned over 1,000 tea parties all across the United States please everyone if your close enough to one on April 15 attend it and take your tea bags,pitch forks,whistles,horns,American flags and so forth and join a tea party in your area.
