What would you do if you find a unclaimed cell on a road? |
|
I have discussed one discussion on lost phones now it is the time to anwer the reverse of that incident!
Would you take it happily or return it because it is that easy finding the owner! You don't have to spend a single penny finding him/her. One can use cell's contact list to inform that the phone has been lost and the owner would be coming running with his/her legs on his head!
So, would you or you will take it because one day you have lost one cell and think that this is the payback you are getting from God?

_soonernation_ (767) | 9 months ago | WOW, I never considered that. That is a good point, depending on where you live. That might be a situation where you might call the police, so that others wouldn't stumble upon it if it did turn out to be a bomb.

2. crimsonladybug (1976) | 10 months ago | I did lose my cell phone. It fell out of my pocket at a concert. A girl found it and went through my contacts. She called my dad (because he was clearly marked as "Dad" so she was probably relatively sure that would be someone I'd be in contact with sooner than later) and told him where she found my phone and that she'd be taking it to the lost and found at the university where the concert was held.
I was grateful although I kind of wished she'd have mailed it to him or something because getting it out of the lost and found at the college was a nightmare. But because someone else helped me when I lost my phone, I think I'd do the same for someone else....What's the phrase? Pay it forward?

sanuanu (3928) | 9 months ago | At least you get your phone back but I didn't get it back to me and it has been stolen twice. So, automatically I would think twice before I can call the number to make them know that I found their cell!

3. dropofrain (1086) | 10 months ago | I have received one such cellphone long back and returned it to the college management. I think now after losing three cell phones, I will keep the cellphone as GOD's compensation. I think I will not return my cellphone this time if I get that back.

4. GADHISUNU (1149) | 10 months ago | Pick it up and give it to Govinda Patterippad [Bhattatirippad], the honest Tantrik, so that he will find the right owner through Tantrik means and give it to them. If I give it honestly to the police it may not reach anywhere, as I see the many stolen vehicles lying recovered by Police but unclaimed in P.S. But the biggest question is from Tantrik, to Police to Lokayukta are there any honest people around?

| andrewcbr86 (17) | 9 months ago | the reason the vehicles are in the impound still is simple cost to much to get them back, i had to pay £126 to get my motorcycle back after it had been stolen plus the extra to get it towed back to my house. and no ya cant trust the police if they see someone on a stolen bike they chase them and then when they dump the vehicle police just leave the person to piss off. so who do i turn to to get my vehicle repaired?
On the subject of mobile phone yes i probably would return it if it was easy to track down the owner

sanuanu (3928) | 9 months ago | Good for you! I don't I can be that honest but I can share one incident with you.
Once I was in a bank filling up a form. Well, there a guy was sitting with him cell on the table. After sometime he left from there but left his cell unattended on table. I was in two minds whether to keep that or not! Well, I was in that state for 5 minutes and after that the guy came back and found his cell. I asked if it belonged to him. He said yes and I was kind of getting angry on him that "how can you be so careless about his cell. It was me who didn't took it into my pocket, otherwise, you would have lost it!

7. xbrendax (2147) | 10 months ago | Well I could keep it and use it as my own, or I can take it to this place I know and get money for it or I can use their own phone to find the real owners, these are my options. Well my answer is just what you said, I would use their contact lists to find the real owners and call them up!

8. alokn99 (2930) | 10 months ago | I would most certainly return it. The person who looses it would be having a tough time in trying to find it. I would try and contact someone from the contact list of his to return it to him. Even if i had gone through loosing a phone, i would not want someone else to to go through it.
