"Friendly" Flirting  

yes im a huge flirt with some of my male friends.. i just make sure they know i am not meaning it to go anywhere and then once they get that then we usually flirt back and forth all the time.. i think its good to help build up your esteem (not that you have a low one but flirting does help you feel good etc) and i think it may even make some people more faithful because they are getting to act flirty but if its with some one they know it wont go anywhere then they get the ego boost.. feel more attractive when they go home to their mates and become better lovers.. lol at least that is an theory i have heard and seen with some people

No I dont flirt I did before I was committed but I do not do that now. My man does snot flirt either, everyone we know is a couple and nobody flirts, we are all very friendly and would do anything for each other but we draw the line at flirting.

I don't mind flirting with native English speakers. It's only when you flirt with a Slav or Middle Easterner

That is awesome that you and your husband have a love so deep you can be the best of friends and share a loving relationship. My wife and I somewhere along the path of life have somehow lost interest in what each other do for recreation and even our friends are no longer mutual. She has lots of platonic guy friends I don't mind if she associate with and I seem to only attract women friends that would have been the very same women I would have been friends with if I knew them in high school. For some reason I can't get away with flirting because the women seem to want me as a mate and my wife can detect it right away. I personally try to live by christian standards so I don't allow these platonic, opposite friendships get out of hand. I like reading about wonderful people like yourself and your husband that can make a marriage work the way it should. Seeing that most marriages fall apart easily all around me in a difficult world, you are showing me there is actually hope that married people CAN lead to a long, happy and loving relationship that can ultimately grow old together. Way to go!

I could see flirting happening, if we were able to spend any social time together with anyone but family. Mostly if we are both off work together we are with each other, or at church. I do have friends of both sexes, and so does Bob. He is also a kid magnet, which is another story. Neither one of us worry about the fidelity of the other, and we both have had friends much longer than we have been married. A lady he used to date did track him down clear across country, courtesy of his sister, but it was a friendship thing as well. I do have male friends who would give me a hug around the shoulders, but they know that it is okay, and I am comfortable with them. On our honeymoon we ran into his deceased girlfriend's sister who was very close to him, but that is no threat either.

Without trust your marriage is worthless and will never be a happy or long experience. You both sound so happy all the time and it's more than obvious you trust each other with your life. The minute the trust is gone so is the marriage. I remember one time my husband and I were sitting in a truck stop cafe having lunch, we finished eating and I was drinking my coffee. Back in those days you could smoke and we both did. I took my cigarettes out of my purse and my lighter wouldn't light no matter how hard we both tried. My husband said, "I'll be right back I'll go ask the girl at the counter for a book of matches." Now remember this was a truck stop meaning people were comming and going steady and many were paying for gas, and there I sat with my cigarette between my fingers and hubby still in line. The man at the next table came over and he very kindly lit my cigarette for me about the time my raging mad hubby got to the table and demanded we leave. That's just one small example of why my marriage is a failing one and yours is strong. Keep up the good work my dear friends.

I don't think flirting is bad as long as it is done for fun and not taken seriously. LOL. I can say that I am in a way flirt with my female friends. Well, at least we do it to our closest friends and not to just random people we meet.

I am married and both my husband and I both flirt with others. Its never flirting in a bad way always in a fun joking way. My husband knew when he met me I am a natural flirt it is in my personality to flirt. My brother in law is a huge flirt too ever since we met we have flirted with eachother. It is all in fun.

I don't flirt but my husband's best friend flirts with me all the time. My husband trusts me and I'm sure that he trusts his friend.

but don't very often now because while I

was married I felt safe but now I'm afraid

someone may take it the wrong way.

Weird thing is that the ex was not a flirt

but was a big time cheater.

I think that cheaters seldom openly flirt and

those that openly flirt are not usually cheaters.
