Hi, tattylashes! I use Queen Helene's Cocoa Butter Facial Scrub as my cleanser. Then I use a facial complexion cream called Venus De Milo.. Girl, this stuff makes my skin so beautiful! When I have mild acne breakouts, it leaves my skin so clear, that it is hard to notice any flaws. My skin looks very healthy and it glows! It brings out my complexion. These products does what it says that it will do. I can't tell what kind of skin that I have. I know that I have very small pores. I hope that your skin product contiunes to work wonders on yoir skin! It is great to find a product that can work for you!

I use either silicon oil or coconut oil. Both are fairly cheep and work great. The coconut oil is always pure coconut oil with nothing else added. I get it at the health food store. I use either on both my skin and my hair.

I am willing to try almost anything. I am still testing out facial creams from all over. I try to get samples first, then I will invest in the money.

I've just started using Nivea Body (Skin Firming Moisturizer). It claims to visibly firm the skin, using Co-Enzyme Q10, in two weeks. I just started taking a Co Q10 supplement because it was suggested as an aid in helping the body to metabolize food into energy better. (I'm using it on my face as well.)

It's pretty nice, actually. It has a very light scent and softens without feeling greasy. We'll see how firmer my body looks after two weeks but this is only the second day I've used it. It says to use in conjunction with Nivea body reshaping treatment around "problem areas" such as butt, stomach and hips, but nobody is going to see those parts of me except my doctor and my husband. My husband says he loves my body so I don't really need to try to look younger, but I might give it a try anyway.

Heck, I might fill the bathtub up with it and sleep in it!

I don't use many cream but the only cream I use is Nivea cream, I have used that for many years and never changed to any other cream and my face is always soft. Love and hugs.

I haven't heard of the one you're talking about and don't like olay cause it's too greasy. I don't have a problem with dry skin on my face but my hands and legs are a different matter entirely. I have used Jergens before and found it really good. There is also vaseline intensive care. Now that I sell Avon though I mostly use that.

I too, remember my mother using ulay on her skin - she is 89 next month, and her skin is still as soft as it was when she was a young girl. I used the same lotion for years when I still lived in the UK, but I can't get it here in Australia - only Olay. So, I bought some and I think it may be made by the same people, because it smells the same, and it works for my skin (hubby uses it too!) Perhaps there was some protocol where they weren't allowed to use the same name, but I swear it's the same product.
I've tried lots of other moisturisers, but find that this one is hard to beat.
Keep using it and you will always have your nanna with you tatty!

hi, i used to work for lancome and their moisturisers for dry skin are very good although a little pricey . you could always ask for some free samples at the counter . i used impactive.

I remember oil of olay,lovelys stuff forgot all about that one.Might give it another go still got a lot of avon to work through first,Body shop is also very nice but expensive,you only use a little bit,but avon suits me best at the moment and is resonable.

You may not believe this but the very best thing I have found that helps with dry skin and does it quickly is a good thick conditioner that I use on my hair. I use VO5 for dry hair and it's wonderful for my skin. I just pour some in my hand and rub into both hands and then on my skin where it's needed.
It soaks in and don't leave me with that greasy feeling. It works quicker than all lotions except one and I can't remember what that was.
