I'm having loads of trouble here imagining you has a serious business man not how I think of you at all..lol...I don't go on business trips but am looking at the mo for a holiday and I like quality but at the right price.

as long as i the bed comfortable to sleep and good breakfast i am happy.i dont need fancy facilities

Most of my travels are for leisure. So whenever I book for a hotel or a resort, it is important that the room does not look like my bedroom at home. I also want it to have a bathtub because I do not have one at home. Facilities are also very important with me, and most preferably a swimming pool and a tennis court.

When ever we travel usually its for leisure so me and my bf look for a hotel with good facilities so that we can relax.

I like cheerful and helpful hotel staffs.
I like a hotel that has a gym, swimming pool, spa and most important is a big bath tub in our room!

I'd be quite happy staying in fawlty towers , anywhere there's fun and laughter to be had. Seriously I check for location, price and prefer B&B so that I always have the freedom to eat at any time or any place that suits me. I would like internet facility too, but aren't we supposed to try and get away from the everyday things? I'd miss Lotting though

I guess it depends. Usually when I take a trip alone for leisure the hotel needs a pillow and sheet...so price might as well be low. If for business since I am not paying it might as well be nicer just in case. I prefer a bar over a gym....I can handle the pressure to make use of the bar (since it it there) more than the pressure to use the gym. I hopefully do not have to do any work so internet is not important, but I know some people that really need the internet for a variety of reasons. I'll leave the barmaids for you....don't need that form of complication in my life. Now if the family is traveling that is a whole different story. Then I search until I can find something really nice for a good price. I will do whatever it takes to take care of my family.

Well as I am a single mum () I have no choice but to go cheap and cheerful. Last weekend I had to go to Camberly with my kids and mum, we stayed at the Travelodge which had no mod cons but for the amount of time we stayed in the room the tv, bathroom with shower, beds and tea/coffee making facilities were quite suffice! Hope you enjoy your trip!

It depends on the purpose. If I am staying there as part of a family vacation I prefer the hotel to offer a free breakfast and have a pool. I also refuse to have my room anywhere near the laundry facilities or an ice machine.

But if I have to stay in a hotel for a night or two because of work or something non fun related I only need hot water and a soft mattress.
