Are You Going To Serving Cake For Your Easter Dinner Dessert?

I would like to serve a bunny cake. I am in the mood for a really moist chocolate cake, and you know some ice cream would be nice also. This is a great idea. I think I would like to have a sourcream icning on my cake. yummy!

I hope it will be cheesecake....I'll probably be alone anyway so I can just pick up one of my favorite kinds for myself...if I was going to be with the kids it probably would be something like cake as my little granddaughter is lactose intolerant so we have to be careful what we serve......

I made a bunny cake last Easter it turned out pretty good. I used coconut to make the bunny fur and I dyed some coconut green to make some grass. I have no idea what I am going to be making for desert this year though.

I haven't really made any Easter plans yet. Having a bunny cake surely sounds great. It makes me crave for some right now. To be honest, I have not attempted to bake a cake in my entire life. Maybe it's about time I do. Thanks for the link, I would definitely check it out.

Oh snow, you dont know how much I niss the seasons like this. Holy week, Palm Sunday and Easter as well. Here at Japan there is nothing like that. In the Philippines we observe holidays specially Holy Week. We even go to one church to another to do sacrifice. Sorry for not responding properly at your discssion, but I really do miss Holy week.

My dad was a baker. So when I was growing up we always had a lamb (shaped) cake for desert on Easter. It was a white or yellow cake with buttercream frosting coverered in coconut. They would place it on a tray that had green dyed coconut to look like the lamb was lying on grass. It was something we kids looked forward to every year. I'm not that great of a baker, but now you got me thinking I might just have to order a lamb cake this year.

We do usually have cake with other desserts.. i am Italian so the food is always out of control.. My sister has a baking business so she usually makes a delicious bunny cake. We also have cheescake,pastries,cannolis,cookies.. Its alot of food for alot of people.. HAPPY EASTER

i love baking, especially apple crumble, on easter sunday i will have the whole family over doe a huge easter dinner, then for dessert i am baking a huge apple crumble with vanilla ice cream, my kids loove it, so this is what i am going to make for them, i have not told them yet because i know they will be rooting for the crumble so i will leave it till the day then serve it out....
