My latest toy - Sanyo's newest portable GPS system  |

|  I happened to be out for a drive the other day. I believe it was Saturday. Instead of being close to home or the immediate area, I ended up being up in Malibu and bought my Sanyo Portable GPS. It is going to save me money and my eyesight. Why do I say that? It is due to the fact that before I purchased the GPS I used to use a navigator on my cell phone. Verizon Wireless doesn't cut any slack on its users who have the VZ Navigator. It costs $10 a month but it would use my airtime for constant downloading of the current map.
This model of Sanyo's GPS navigation unit does multiple things including capabilities of hands-free bluetooth with speaker and microphone, music player, photo viewer, and video viewer.
I probably will use it mostly for the navigation, hands-free and the music.

| | The monthly charges I mentioned are from Verizon Wireless. I dropped that service already. Once you BUY a GPS unit there are no additional costs. You automatically pick up the signal for navigation because you are picking up a satellite signal.

| |  Came with the car. I'm a map and intuition type of person, but R loves it. My sister says GPS is for wusses though.

| |  Sanyo's portable GPS sounds like a wonderful and effective addition to anyone who travels to any extent!
While we(my husband and myself) have been known to occassionaly end up lost it was one of those long Sunday afternoons when you unconsciously want to get lost and see things off the beaten track!LOL!!!It can prove helpful sometimes to do things of that nature, but this GPS is something to maybe take a look at for the future!
