4. Yori88 (1318) | 9 months ago | I like Alanis Morissette especially her songs Ironic and Head Over Feet. I do not have any albums of her but I find her voice really amazing. I like those two songs and I do not know any other songs of her or maybe I have heard few but just not aware of them. But indeed I like her songs.

5. aerisdark (47) | 9 months ago | I think Alanis Morissette has a wonderfully unique voice. I've been listening to her for years now, and I must say that I've really enjoyed seeing how she's grown through her music. In Jagged Little Pill, the song "You Oughta Know" was a song about a relationship that ended. It was bitter and angry (understandably, what an icky man). On her new album, however, the song "Torch" is about her relationship with Ryan Reynolds ending, and it's much kinder to him. It's more melancholy, with only the best things to say about him. She has been able to grow up in that way, and that's marvelous. (Of course, I'm sure it also had something to do with how healthy said relationships were and how they ended.) I really like a few songs from her new album, but as a whole I think it's probably her worst one yet. It's definitely more pop than her previous ones, but again, there are some real keepers sprinkled throughout the album.
:D
Some of my favorite Alanis songs are: "You Oughta Know" - Naturally. It WAS the first song with an expletive to win in the history of the Grammys. "Still" - It was odd to me at first, but then you have to keep in mind that she's singing from God's point of view. (I see you doing all of these horrible things, and I love you still.) Incredible. "You Learn" "Thank You" "Joining You"
Among others.:D "I believe in music the way that some people believe in fairy tales."

6. Apple3Cranberry (604) | 4 weeks ago | Yes, she is very good. I like her songs. I have one of her CDs. It is like her first I think. It has You Oughta Know on it. It's good. I enjoy her songwriting, and her music videos. They seem to express emotions that people need to feel, at least me. And in Jr High this was good too. Because of the anger factor. I wouldn't want to withdraw angry music at all. Especially artistic and different music. Do you think it has a place? I do. Well have a fun day.
