Of course,the concept of corporate social responsibility developed out of increased social awareness in society as a result of research in behavioural sciences, yet the vested interest of companies in getting social acceptability has also contributed to it not in a small measure. This is particularly true in case of businesses which draw widely its requirements from surroundings or woking of which affects the society considerably.

Yes, Company should have vested their interest on being socially responsible. It is their responsible as a company to help our environment and not only our environment but people who needs help. Actually it can go side by side as long as the company will help each other build their corporate responsibility to gain more customers.

A business that promotes social development is possible. It is also an investment on the business to promote corporate social responsibility. A lot of goods have been processed thru recycling and are being sold in the market like the car you are driving, cans of soda, bottled drinks... For some companies, they find it even cheaper to recycle than to produce with a new set of resources. It is actually a good thing because the wastage of resouces is set to minimal and at the same time helping the environment in the reduction of waste and garbage.

I think, some of them do, but some of them don't. The reason why other businesses do not stick from their CSR is because they really want higher profit. They do not think of their people and their environment. Some of them really do in a sense that those businesses really think of the people around them. Sometimes, seeing other people happy make other businessmen happy too, because it's their interest.

Business and social development can go side by side . With the development of society, business can expand and invest in more wide field of the business. The soviety creats more profit for the company. The company will return the society with investing in CSR. The customres are more aware of the CSR of the company when they purchase. Actually, the CSR could help company earn a great profit!

Companies really need to be connected with CSR. It is indeed an important factor for the success of a business in the long run. Becoming more aware of the responsibilities they have towards the welfare of the society and not just merely towards their stakeholders and doing some actions in satisfying these responsiblities(towards the society) can be a great help for a company to have a good reputation and most of the time, can give them a bigger market share due to the trust that the people may give them.
