It has great work opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. There is work in rural areas too. The local people are friendly and the weather for most of the year is delightful. I think that New Zealand would be a lovely country to work in but the wages would be lower and the climate is only great in the summer. It has such a beautiful landscape and the people are really friendly. It is possible for my nationality to get a working holiday visa for both countries. Any nationality could apply for a four year work visa if they have a skill that is in demand. To get permanent residency a person must pass the points test or have a family connection. I wish my parents had emigrated to Australia when it was easy to move there.
