When did you stop reading children book?  

I don't remember when I stopped reading children books, although I can understand how they are exciting. My fiance and I have a set of clue books that he collected when he was younger and while they are more of a preteen type thing we still own them and enjoy them! Your never to old to read books of any age group! Atleast that's the way I feel. If they are enjoyable or cute or whatnot then why deny oneself?

I read all kinds of books..i dont mind xp but i wouldnt want to read baby books..now i
think those would bore me lol XD

I have been reading children's books now for 10 yrs. I run an in-home daycare and I read to these kids. My boys are grown but I read to them until the where in 6th grade and then they said they were to old for me to read to them.

I don't read books for real little children except to my children, but I do go back and reread some of my favorite children's books now and then. Such as the Wizard of Oz books, Alice in Wonderland, etc.

I love the Magic Tree House books. I think I stopped reading children's book (for my own enjoyment)when I was about 11 years old. But when I got older and had a baby I started reading to my baby and I was introduced to a ton of great children's books including the Magic Tree house books. Even though I don't read them often, I do enjoy reading about Jack and Annies adventures

Oh dear. I suppose I have to admit to having one of Roald Dahl's children's books on my shelf here, which I picked up last year. And a book for teens that I re-read a month or so ago (my excuse being that it's by my favourite author).

I have no excuse: I just love reading and still sometimes enjoy the straightforward simplicity of a kids' book rather than a massive, mind-bending tome! And yes, I'm nearly 40.

I think I "graduated" to more mature literature when I was 11. At that time, I was really eager to not be a kid anymore so I didn't miss the books I used to read too much. The new books I was reading seemed much more interesting anyway! Now, though, I look on children's literature as just occupying a notable place in the continuum of literature...I'll read it if it is well done. Now that I'm an adult and getting older by the day, I no longer mind if I appear childish to others! Maybe my second childhood just started really early...

I'd say around 6th grade, I started getting into the fantasy books. But during high school I read more children books to my little brother than "grown up" books.

Jack & Annie is awesome, I actually read it still. Heck, I even watch Blues Clues...

I'm pretty immature!

Maybe I stop reading it when i entered middle school.At that time i read "snow white and seven dwarf","green fairy" and so on.And now when i see these book i still feel they are funny.
