Yes my red flag is waving too, I always find it happens with these PTC sites when nearing or reached payout, it makes me paranoid that they are singling me out! lol
If I could afford a donation I wouldn't be doing this slave labour to begin with. We are not even being given the option to donate what we want but being asked to donate $3 or $5!

I dunno, but it's really suspicious.

I quit using all of the PTC sites I signed up with a while ago. It's just so much work for a few pennies a day. I never felt comfortable trying to refer people, so I didn't bother at all. And I really don't miss it at all. I have more time to devote to earning the way I want to, from the things I write instead of the number of people I can recruit.  ^_^%

I hope you're able to get paid by Ara-Bux. It really sucks when sites turn out to be untrustworthy.

I am slowly quitting them too, it's just not worth it. I'd rather be here too having fun with friends, discussing important issues like this one! lol and earning more than all those PTC sites put together, how quickly we learn

I think my favorite part is when I get into discussions like this. I'm on MyPage 5 too, and there's never a back-and-forth exchange of ideas there. It's really too bad--it's so much more fun to be able to have real discussions about things!

What really made me realize how much time I was wasting on PTC sites was finding a quarter on the ground at work and thinking "Wow, that would have taken me about a week to earn on Neobux." Sure, some of the PTCs do pay, but life passes you by if you waste all your time clicking away for pennies!

My sentiments exactly. I am impressed that you are a fairly new member and getting into the discussions the way we are supposed to, you will do well in the Lot if you stick at it and abide by the rules. Advertising for other sites has got to be the biggest offence lol. You have already earned a lot here.. my respect, friendship and a little money from myLot So it's goodbye from me, and hopefully goodbye from you to PTCing lol

PTC is waste of time! Leave PTC and concentrate on either Adsense or Affiliate Marketing.

I think that's what's wrong most of these sites are not sustainable because they are all advertising each other! and they have too many members clicking for free and not enough paying advertisers.

Thanks for your advice, I expect you are right it's all delaying tactics and I won't bite. I wasn't too happy to begin with because they use alert pay system. I then found out they were taking a month to pay members, then I heard a friend has waited 3 months! now this donations! it certainly raises cause for concern. I reached my $10, I am not giving them $3 or $5 of it.. no no.. not one cent!

Thank you for advice, judging from the response it seems the most sensible thing to do is to cut my losses and run. I have not invested by upgrading or anything but I have spent minutes, hours, days, weeks and months! click, click, clicking. So many scams on line now, only place I have faith in now is MyLot. I am saving to make sure my granddaughters get a nice Christmas present from me, so my little earned money is staying exactly where it is! LOL

I fear the site is not sustainable, especially if you have waited that long! I was shocked to see this message this morning and was directed there after trying to log in, I have not even clicked today. If they paid me my $10 I would have $10 in my alert pay account, so like you, until they pay me, I can donate nothing, zero, zilch! lol We have only lost $10 dollars each, but think of what they gained from thousands of members clicking!
Another sad story from you and I then... but keep smiling my friend, they can't take that away from us.

I just deleted the websites, but not my account... who knows I may get paid some day! I'm an optimist Wallabymails went too ... that account WAS deleted after a few choice words on the forum

I don't want to be believe it is a scam but most other sites have done the same with warnings and requests of help then turned out to run with our money, so I'll remain skeptical. I haven't been paid at all, but if they paid me $8 out of the $10 they're due me then I could setle for that. I admire your optimism

I wish I could get into to it to get out of it LOL but whenever I tried to log in I am diverted to that donations page I am beginning to think the onlt 2 reliable ones are Neobux and Egyptianclicks... so far!

I always found that weird too, but often wonder when they decide to put these announcements out. I mean.. surely we all didn't register the same day and reach cash out the same day, so why did it happen to fall on my cash out date.. or yours or anybody elses? Maybe they ARE able to post these announcements to individuals! Do you think I'm suspicious LOL.. or crazy?
You are quite right of course, if they are mismanaging thier funds and unable to pay members they DO get a bad name for themselves, but it's deserved I.M.O.
I like to hear my respondents saying they are not going to donate, why should we?

Sorry to hear that you have referrals, I am glad that I am not in that position. I have only ever rented referrals once and after doing the math I believe it is also a scam. I won't say what site because that would be unfair as it is only conjecture on my part, but it's convenient that those rented referrals have undisclosed names! Yes.. very unstable indeed!

OMG! I am so sorry to hear you have invested so much and I can't believe their audacity to ask you to invest more! I've had no emails from them, but then I've never invested, I'd say your luck was more in having the sense not to rent again. LOL @ 'not nasty' trust me.. I've said a few nasty words to other scamming sites and arabux won't escape my harsh tongue if I get into their forum! I can imagine all the money has gone into paying a lucky few and the remainder into Ibrahim's pocket.
