Learning how to cook. | | One of my longterm goal is to able to cook, not just cook but the best cook our family can have. As i always told my boyfriend, the best chef in town.I already inquire cooking school but it's too expensive. Now, what i do is i get some menu in the net and then i practice it at home. I was thinking since i have this source, i can ask help from you guys. Can you give some of your best but affordable menu that i can practice and perfect it myself.

What general foods do you like to use. That would give more of an idea of how to answer your question. Thank you.

sysdexlicwriter (1131) | 8 months ago | For the basics, I have a notebook version of the Betty Crocker Cookbook. It was made in the 1970's and you can still get a used copy on www.Amazon.com
I still use this book today for many things like how to hard boil eggs, cooking basic meats, cookies, pies, vegetables. It really is a good primer for cooking.
There are a few used copies available. Unless you are rich, I would not try for the collectible version: http://www.amazon.com/1969-1972-Printing-Betty-Crocker/dp/B000M1OPO4/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239595385&sr=8-14
