| | Hi Friend, I think whatever you do with local flavour always work. And it is also good to interact with people in own language. As I don't understand korean, so won't be able to read what you write but I would appreciate to start a blog in Korean... Happy Blogging | | | | | | |

| | It sounds like a good idea. Will your site be targeted towards native English speakers? In the US, there seems to be a growing interest in Asia. Many admire Japanese culture and study Japanese, while there is recognition that China is increasingly important as business destination so probably more people are studying Chinese though I don't know anyone who is personally. There may be less interest in learning Korean, but there are probably also fewer Korean learning blogs so it might be easier for you to carve out a niche for yourself. You could put AdSense on your blog and probably have language tutors and language software makers advertising on your pages; also, you could join an affiliate program or two to sell books, software, and other language tools. I think Korean writing is much easier to learn than Japanese or Chinese writing, but the culture is very rich and very "digitized" so it would be a worthwhile language for anyone to learn, even someone who never plans to visit South Korea. I never went beyond studying the Korean alphabet personally, but it's something I'd like to return to some day. I think this would be a worthy project. | | | | | | |
