hahaha, silly me again....  

I have often made the mistake of thinking one of my cats was sitting outside the kitchen door waiting to come in. I've opened the door for him only to find that it is a pair of wellie boots. There is obscured glass in the door, so I suppose that is some excuse!

It can happen so easiley, I think that was so funny, same sort of thing happened to me, I have a small stool in my kitchen area and my Tom cat always sits there watching me work and one night I was making my hubbys' sandwiches for wwork and I was chattering away to him and asked him if he wanted a bit of ham, I turned around with a piece of ham in my hand to give it to him, but I got a shock, it was a pair of hubby's brown shoes on the stool, my hubby put it there for some reason and I thought it was my cat, so I was talking to a pair of shoes while Tom was sitting on the staires looking at me thinking I have gone mad, lol!!. Mostly I mistake one cat for another, in fact, Nef and Scamp are so much alike that even I have to look carefully at them to tell them apart - much less the roomie with her bad vision.

if Nef would wear a collar, she'd have one on, but she's ditches them as fast as we put them on her, and I don't want to put a collar on Scamp

And, we have Ping and Pong, and Ping wears a collar

I have not necessarily talked to a bin liner, but I have talked to other things, thinking that they were cats.I know you felt really silly and Lottie is probably rubbing it in in a sly black kitty way, giving you that kitty cat grin and smirk.

Hi, tattylashes! No, I have never done this before. I don't have a cat. But, I am sure that I have gotten something mixed up with something else. I know with my daughter, I was giving her, her pacifer and I end up putting it in my three year old mouth. And I was looking at my daughter, like why is she not sucking it. Then I realized that it was not my one year old daughter, but my three year old. So, yes, I have made a few mistakes along the way when it comes to getting something mixed up. I know that it was hilarious to see your cat trot in when you thought that it was her on the window ledge. That is okay. We all have out times of getting things a little off. Perfectly normal! It is great that you could have a laugh with your cat.

HAHAHAHAH, omg, hee hee, don't worry...it happens..I do have my silly moments like you too...But unfortunately, my silly moments sort of happen ALL THE TIME...lol..or maybe it's just me that was intentionally being silly...who cares, such things are needed in life so that it'll give you at least SOMETHING to laugh about if you haven't laughed for a long time..haha *wink.

aww tatty you make me laugh so much. I do silly things like that too and I'm glad there's nobody around to see it. I could swear I see insects moving on the carpet, I have to get up and look and it's usually a bit of fluff or something on the floor! that'll teach me to vacuum more often.

That is funny. I can see how that could happen. You see something and assume it is one thing and it turns out not to be that thing at all... shows how much we really pay attention to what we are actually looking at. For me, I don't see that well far away, and I can't see anything without my glasses... I would not be able to recognize anything without my glasses.
