He seemed to like the abuse he got and they played together like good friends. I have a german shepperd puppy and Lola has the same patience with Vicente. From what I´ve heard, it´s important that the dog´s parents are well trained and intelligent.

| | 2. pink_lady (218) | 9 months ago | Hi, We have a 1 year old American Bulldog at our house. Even though we don't have babies or any little children at our home the dog is friendly. one of our borders has a 1 year old son and he always let her hand and feet touches the dog and our dog loves it.he didn't bite the baby, but instead he is just like a baby who wants to play. I think Bulldogs are children friendly.

| | 3. bellaofchaos (3116) | 9 months ago | well I have never owned and english bull dog before and so I'm not sure how they are with children but I'll look up some information for you .. I do want to say that before you get any dog you should always check and make sure about their temperments and their behaviors and research reaseatch reasearch.. find a breeder that isn't in it for the money and will give the ups as well as the downs of the dog. A good breeder is not looking to just sell their pups but they are looking at making sure that their pups are the right fit for the family.
here is what I researched on the breed you are getting.
Breed Group: Non-Sporting Weight: Male: 55, Female: 45 lbs Height: 12-15 inches Color(s): brindle, solid white, red, or fawn, or any of these on a white background Coat: The coat of the English Bulldog is very short. It should always consist of smooth, straight, and flat hair that lies close to the body of the dog, and be of fine texture. Overview: One of the gentlest breeds, the English Bulldog has grown in popularity. Originally bred for baiting bull, this breed can be intimidating but is very affectionate and surprisingly gentle. English Bulldogs do fairly well with children. This breed is sturdy and can withstand child play. Character: This short nosed and stocky breed loves attention. A very reliable, loving, and gentle breed, this dog makes an excellent companion for children and adults. More of a human companion, the English Bulldog also does well with other dogs and cats. This breed is always looking for guidance from his owner. Temperament: The English Bulldog can display dominating behavior and requires a firm handler to show him his place. Great for a loving family, the English Bulldog gives a lot of love and attention, and expects it in return. This breed has been used as a guard dog, and does exceptionally well given the correct training. Care: A rubber brush will be sure to remove any loose or dead hair. Combing will also eliminate much of the hair. The English Bulldog is an average shedder and should be bathed only when necessary. Mouth should be cleaned regularly and underneath the folds of skin with a damp washcloth. Training: This breed requires a firm hand and consistent training. Relatively lazy, this breed doesn't need much activity to make a great companion. Does very well as a guard or watchdog. A dominant owner is a must if this breed is to be well mannered. Activity: The English Bulldog doesn't require much exercise but would do well with a short walk occasionally. This breed tires out easily and considering the flat muzzle, should always have available water. Ownership: If you are looking for English Bulldog puppies for sale from reputable English Bulldog breeders or to adopt an English Bulldog from an English Bulldog rescue then make sure you understand as much about the dog breeds you are interested in as you can. Every puppy breed is different. Begin your research by reading the breed information about the English Bulldog puppy above. Search our dog breeds section to find English Bulldog puppies, dogs and puppies that make great pets.
