Do you have a favorite Christian Music in your Church?

my hubby and i attend a baptist church and you are right, there are some great hymns from a hundred years ago and even earlier but at my church we sing a lot of praise songs (tim hughes, hillsong united) and those are my favourite. i usually end up humming the song through the week and listen to them on youtube.

In our church, we call it as hymns and some are songs.I love listening to hymns and songs that are acceptable in the church.One of my favorites is entitled," Learn of Him".I like this song because of its good melody and lyrics.It talks about my Savior.When you are closed to the Savior and live righteously, HIS good countenance will be seen in you.Every time I hear this song, I am humbled and closed to my Savior.I am reminded that I need to manifest Christlike attributes in my daily life.

I do, in fact, I'm a big fan of Hillsong & Hillsong United. Their albums, combined, are like the gems of Christian music.

I like this song 'What a friend we have in Jesus'. It is in my profile playlist. There are so many good christian songs but this one is so touching and can never tire of listening to it.

My favorite is "A Mighty Fortress is Our God," how God protects us against the wiles of the devil. I also like the Psalm 23 set to music and Christ the Lord is Risen Today that tells how Christ gives us victory and that he is no longer on the cross but triumphant in the heavens so that death no longer has power over us.
There are some psalms i like that are set to music that I like as well. But when I hear "A Mighty Fortress" I want to sing it as loud as I can.

Hi, learn2earn! I like the song by Kirk Franklin, "This is it!". It talks about how the devil is not going to mess with a persons mind anymore. And how an Christian has gotten tired of the devil playing with them. I love this song! It makes me feel that I am an conqueror through Christ Jesus. And I like that song by Darwin Hobbs, "Mercy". It tells how God has so much mercy to bring us out of situations, and how that it is going to be alright. His mercy is all around us and that he loves us so much that he will be with us. I have many other songs that I love and admire. These are just a few.

Oh it would be "I can only imagine" by Mercy Me. This speaks of how it would be like having a personal encounter with Jesus. That at the end of the day, it is not important how much you know about God but Who you really know. And that once you meet Him face to face, words and actions are simply not enough to express your profound gratitude to the One who made life so colorful and meaningful as can be.

I don't have any favourite Christian music at the moment. All of them are beautiful and come to Your heart.

oh that's so hard to say cause I have alot of favorites I especially like praise and worship music. I know my daughter's favorite song is called I am free she is only 8 and she can sign it perfectly. I know one of my favoirte is Look what the Lord has done. Take care and God Bless.

i dont go to church but i do have a song that i have been a meaningfull song.its abide with me.it used to make my dad cry when they had it on songs of praise.that was the song at his nans funeral,his nan was more like a mum to him.they also played it at my dads funeral.(he passed away sadly last feb).in some ways its a song that i should not like but in other ways it reminds me of sundays with my dad.
