Do you ever move your furniture around?

I move things around all the time- my hubby actually jokes that it's a good thing he's not blind. It makes me feel new again and it gives the room a while new feel and its really cheap. Happy mylotting!!

I do move our furnitures around if i have the chance to do so. It makes our place new again with all the new arrangements of furnitures. I agree with what you've said that it makes the place tidy since you have to be able to clean some corners and places that are occupied before with some furnitures. I could even find some items we thought was lost, set aside or throw some stuffs I dont need at all or destroyed already. The feeling is satisfying after the very tedious task and i feel like everything is clean and in order.

I love moving the furniture around I try to do it every 6 months to a year. It makes the place look so different and in the process you are able to clean out the clutter. Even though I try to keep my house clutter free but sometimes things build up that you don't realize.

I try to move my furniture around at least twice a year, once during a spring clean and once before Christmas. I used to do it mor often but the furniture is more bulky now and I'm not as strong as I used to be. I never feel as if my house has had a proper deep clean unless the furniture has been moved to a different position. My mum was the same.

Oh yes! My husband did comment about this habit of mine. He felt that I was an anxious doing this. But wait, there is an instinct that makes me feel uncomfortable. That was why I moved the furniture from time to time to improve the Aura! I don't think understands this? This is a good sign in my opinion. As you remarked cleanliness was a factor. Your freedom to be able to express your personality in your home. Keep moving until you find a comfortable spot for your piece of furniture. A good sign for changes and challenge in your life!

My wife wants to move furniture around but unfortunately our furniture was bought to go where it goes (L-sofas, bookshelves and TV cabinets that only go where there is an actual jack, etc...) so in the 4 years we have been at our home we have yet to move the furniture.

In the bedroom, everything faces N-S with the windows being to the W. Of course it is a no-no in feng shui to have a bed facing the window and it would block the normal flow (where you actually walk) in the bedroom.

The only room that could be moved around is the formal room and there might just be a comprimise to do something about that.

I am always very lazy to move my furniture but definitely sometimes it works. We did it a few months in our living room and now it seems that there is more space as the light is coming from another side and there is no furniture right in front of the door when you enter the room.

Yes I move my furniture around at least twice a year. Personally, I think it gives a sense of a fresh start and like you said, you clear up clutter and find things that you lost a long time ago. Sometimes depending on how you move around your furniture, it seems to add space. My room seems to grow everytime i move furniture around.

i do....although i have few furniture and fixtures because i am a minimalist...i just don't like the clutter-effect in my place..that's why i try not to buy many pieces of decor or any furniture..i move furniture around when i'm in the mood for doing this...like when i want to adapt to a certain mood in my living room just to create a certain ambience..but im into Zen type of atmosphere.
