 I am either a complete idiot or the world's biggest slob, which is it?
I've lost a pair of pants.
I didn't stutter.
I lost a brand new pair of f*cking pants. I have looked in the closet, both closets, downstairs where I have clothes draped over a patio chair, out in the car. I lost a pair of friggin pants.
I don't remember ever being absent minded, but...
I took them with me to the Isle of Palms last week, but never wore them. I thought I had brought them home with me, but damned if I can find them. I double checked the little wardrobe closet they had. So did my son.
No effin pants.
I know it's cluttered around here but I'm not a damn slob.

It's 5:00 PM EDST, I'm off for the Mall, and I guess in search of a new damn pair of friggin pants.

2.  ButterflyEs (175) | 9 months ago |  I would say you are neither. I have lost items in the past, at least I thought I did and they always turned up somehow. There have been occasions where I had to turn the house upside down - especially when I lost my favorite silver ring. I literally looked for it in every square inch of my place but couldn't find for three weeks. Then, all of a sudden, there it was, in the kitchen, on the counter top. That was the first place I had looked for it, which makes the whole thing even more strange. If you brought it back from the Isle of Palms, it will definitely turn up somewhere when you least expect it. Since you're already off shopping for another pair of pants, I guess you'll have an extra one to enjoy when you find it. Have a nice one!

I totally lost them for quite awhile. Replaced them, went on vacation, came back and found them in a very logical place. It was frustrating.

Is it possible they were in your car when the brick was thrown? Maybe some one stole them at that time. Or, have you called the hotel you were staying at? Besides the wardrobe closet, there is usually a dresser of sorts with drawers. Did your son help you to unpack? Have you checked your suitcase/bag that you used? If it has more than one compartment, perhaps they are still in it. Despite having legs, they can't have walked to far.

Couldn't you try calling the hotel you stayed at when you went to the Isle of Palms. If you left them in the room, then somebody, if only the cleaner, will probably have handed them in.

She gave all the size 46 away as she knew I would never get that size again. Anyway, I have about five pairs of each size from 48 to 60ty. I am on size 58 right now so guess I must have lost some weight. They really can't weigh me at the Dr.s office as their scales don't go that high but then I am over 6ft depending on how straight I stand so it doesn't really look that bad. My wife is tall so she can weigh the same as her short sisters and still not look as fat as they look. | |

I don't drink all that much beer, but I do drink a lot of milk and for the longest time I drank whole milk because I thought it was better for me (my mistake). I'm down to 1 percent milk now.
I did find the pants by the way. Excellent Hide and Go Seek maneuver on my pants' part I must say. Hanger was hooked on a shirt pocket and therefore the pants hung low. | |

My arms are small and my legs aren't that big either. My wife has had to take up the seams in my pants because they kept ripping out but she couldn't take up the whole leg because of the pockets. Pretty soon I looked like I was wearing riding pants. She decided that was enough and threw them out. | |
