I remembered seeing that they were making this book into a movie and I remembered that it struck a chord with me but I couldn't remember why. So I just looked it up again and I think it looks like it will be pretty incredible.
It has a great cast and it was a pretty terrific movie AND it's directed by Spike Jonez. That's Jonez with a z not Jones with an s...
For those of you who don't know who Spike Jonez is he's very big in the music video industry but he also directed Adaptation with Nicholas Cage and Being John Malkovich. The music video that stands out in my head is Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice, the one with Christopher Walken walking on walls and ceilings.
I'm pretty excited. How about you?

I heard that they were goin' to make a movie for the book, I am hyped about it. It was one of my favorite books as a kid growing up, and I always got a kick out of the pictures in the book. Thinking back to the book brings back good memories for me. I even thought of getting a few of the characters tattooed on me, I thought of it, didn't do it. I heard of Spike Jonez but can't say that I really kept tabs on him, myself.

I'm not familiar with Spike Jonez nor the Where Wild Things Are but now that you mention it, I think it is really worth wathcing. However, I'm familiar with the music video and I find it so amusing and I guessed everyone who has seen it too.
