today at four in the morning my baby vomitted. i felt soooooooo bad. everything came out of her mouth and nose and she was crying like anything. i felt so bad and emotional. she loves her father soo much that just because he said in a loud voice not to go near a hot cup of tea that was there, she felt bad . she was sooo badly hurt that she cried and vomitted. whenever she cries too much she vomits. i donno this is normal or just my baby do like this. but this is very common thing in her that whenever my hubby or anyone speaks also loudly, she cant take it. she cries and then cries so badly that vomits. it is such a difficult situation for me. please share your experiences also. i wanna know from all the moms and dads if you also have such experiences with your kiddos or not and if yes, who do you deal with it? thank you.

yes, this is normal. Too much crying causes them to vomit sometimes. Did you let her get used to being in a too quiet environment when she was a lot smaller? In our case, from the day we brought her home, we made sure she got used to loud stuff..(not so loud it hurts) but normal voices. Like we don't whisper when she's around. When the TV is turned on, we just put it into normal volume. Why dont you try doing that? If she's still the same, I suggest you bring her to a doctor. I read somewhere that what kids hear is usally magnified a certain times in their ears. Something MIGHT be wrong (her ears might be a tad bit too sensitive for sound. And of course, for your peace of mind, you can go to her pedia anytime.. don't sweat. happy

thanks for the beautiuful response my dear friend. when she sleeps at that time we whisper while we talk. ew dont talk in our normal tone. and our television is mostly off. it is on also but the volume on which we watch when she is awake also is low. the only thing when she she sleeps we do is tal in whispers and dont let even a pin fall. she is from the day born, very very sensitive to noises. when i was on the first day, when she was delivered, in hospital, she was sleeping, the nurse entered, and just asked that howz the baby, she was awake and at that time our doctor said that she will be too sensitive to noises. and it really affects now. it is difficult to make her fall sleep.

Oh yes totally normal! Crying causes a lot of mucus and some children who have a good gag reflex well it makes them gag and in turn makes them sick definitly nothing to worry about!
My 5 year old used to be a master at vomiting when she was told off i know its hard but try not to make too much of a fuss clean it and her up and then give a quick cuddle and distract from what happened because my eldest would do it on purpose in the end because she knew it would bring us running once we ignored it (because lets face it they arent ill and are not in pain) she realised it wouldnt work!

Hi aweins! My baby girl is 3 months old and I have had some issues with her throwing up before although for different reasons. You should probably ask your pediatrician about her problem to see if theres anything you can do to make it better for her. Happy Mylotting!
