Board Games....Does anyone play them anymore???  

Oh what memories, snakes and ladders was the game i could ever win, people must still play board games as there is still a lot out there for sale, I think it is a wonderful way to get interaction between families..there are so many different monoply games these days, I even saw an Elvis Presley monolpy game but was a bit expensive ....

I know a few people who do and I miss board games, I will play them with my son when he's able to know how.

We still play board games once in a while. Right now it's the kiddie board games with the grandkids. We've been playing Candy Land lol. We also play Yahtzee regularly, and although it's not a board game, we like to play Jenga. I wish somebody here would like to play Scrabble or Boggle, those are my all time favorites! I never really cared for Monopoly, it's OK, but it seems to take forever!!

We play board games every time the whole family gets together. We have to set up several tables - In fact, if you have never played the game Snorta - go and buy it today and bring it home invite the neighbors and you will laugh until the tears run down your face. I can not remember if anyone has ever won the game, but we laugh till we cry.

Break the bank is a game where everyone plays as a team against the game - we play it if someone is getting too competitive.

Yes we do!! We started this about a year ago. We started out with movie night, but then went to game nights. My brother and his girlfriend, their 4 children, my 2 children and I. The kids are ages 9, 10, 11x3 and 12 so it is a lot of fun now. Pictionary is one of the favorites and so is Cranium and Clue. I myself love Mad Gab. It is so much fun. We usually get together for dinner, then clean up, and settle in for an evening of gaming. We split into teams with 1 adult and 2 kids, if the game calls for teams. We only do it once a month usually, but it is a lot of fun. I have been hosting game night at my house by myself lately. Just me and 6 kids. I love every minute of it though!!

My family still does when we get together....usually Cranium is our favorite right now but we used to play alot of monolopy..and trival persuit....that is my favorite. We also play boggle...and yatzhee alot!!!

OMG... we are game board freaks.... I play games with both my kids all the time, daddy doesnt like to play them so he plays video games with them. We have over 50 board games. Some of my friends like to play them too. I dont actually have a favourite but there are alot of great ones.

No, I don't play it anymore, with friends or family. I use to play snake and ladders, together with my brother and sister, when I was a kid. Sometimes we play scrabble but not as frequent as snake and ladders.

yeah right.....even i had given up playiong some of the board games.....but the one i play even now is poker....

I play board games with my son. With holidays, it gets real boring with him and he’s quite hyperactive. So instead of the TV and computer all the time or plain yapping, we take out checkers or ludo or snake & ladders or mathemagic and spend some time together. I feel board games are a wonderful way of bonding without straining the eyes of children (like TV and computers)…I am planning to buy a few more games next holiday season.
