what is your definition of a man?

A man is the head and the caretaker if he knows that he is a man with such responsibility. The man who doesnt know what is being a man cannot be called man. Are you getting it? A man should know that he should be always with his wife and children. A man should feel shame when he tries to hit a woman. Woman is respected because man is born from a woman's womb. When a man respect his wife his daughter will also be respected. The man who insults his wife will always be insulted either by his own daugther or by other woman. One day he will realize his mistake and that day will not be far from this day.

Very nice discussion. For me the best man is a man who loves and respects a woman. Someone who treats her as a partner, as an equal.A real man is someone who see's himself as a human being with responsibilities and obligations to his family, the people around him and the community. The best man gives out his best to be able to bring the best to the people around him.The best man for me is not perfect. He cries when he is hurt.he has his own shares of defeat, failures and dessappointments. But though he has this flaws in his life, he continue to get up on his feet and trust God that he has the perfect plan for his life.

Men are different in projecting themselves... one can be shabbily dresses but is still a man because of how he treats a woman... or they can act tough and even look like a menace but is very gentle with the women in their lives... but for me... a man is a man when he know how to treat a woman even if she is not as attractive as others may be...

i agree with you roniroxas that a real man is someone who knows how to admit his mistakes.and also,my definition of a man is someone who knows how to say NO to a girl even the girl is so pretty and hot because that kind of man has dignity and respect of other people and for himself and that kind of man is not cheap like other guys who just grab every chicks that will flirt with them.its hard for a guy to say no to a hot and sexy chick but if a guy knows how to say no,well two thumbs up for him!and i also agree with you that a real man is a man who does not hit a woman especially his wife or girlfriend.someone who knows how to give way when both of you are quarelling and someone who will always remember you even when you are far from each other.someone who's sweet and romantic at all times not only if theres an an occasion.
