Now I sit here and wait, the really "neat" part of my job  

I hate to wait on someone it is the most dreaded thing I ever have to do. I think when you say you will do something then that is your bond to keep with whom ever you have to deal with. But in business it never happens on time. I am one if I say I will be somewhere at a certain time I like to be there early by at least 15 minutes. That way no one is waiting on me. I don't like holding things up. Heck when my husband tells me we are going somewhere I am usually ready two hours before we are to go wherever we are going.

So, why don't you get him to call your cellphone number, or get your home calls to transfer to your cellphone, and go off out, instead of waiting indoors for the call. There are ways and means, my friend, if you think about it. It would drive me mad sitting home waiting for calls like that!

You'll have good company in purgatory...lol. Waiting in line at a grocery store drives me crazy, and I find myself wishing they'd put better magazines out to read while I'm waiting. Yesterday The man in front of me had paid his bill, the groceries were bagged...and he stood there for 2 minutes putting his debit card away and re-arranging his wallet. I was staring at him, along with the cashier and bagging clerk...but the guy s-l-o-w-l-y went about his business like he didn't have a care in the world. I wanted to bump him with my cart and then say, "Excuse me, I thought you were moving"....
When driving, I'd rather make a right and four lefts, rather than sit there just to make one left, crossing traffic...lol.

It is too bad that people who we are waiting on don't have to pay for every 5 mins. that they make us wait. I bet if they had to we wouldn't spend so much time waiting. Dr.s offices wouldn't schedule us at 2:30 when they know they aren't going to be able to see us until 4:30.

I also hate waiting and the job I currently have is somewhat like yours. I wait two of the four days I work. I wait for ads to come in so I can build them. Then on the very last day they come in like crazy and I have to build them then build the pages of the paper. I do hate waiting.

Okay, so we do not have fish pictures up yet I guess. I have waiting as well, and might find myself cleaning or doing some meaningless thing or another, or even doing paperwork.Luckily my job does not require waiting very much.
