do you like people who likes tell a story to you?

I absolutely love hearing stories that's why I can't wait to hear my son's when he's old enough, I expect they will be extremely imaginitive and about cars, lol, but yes I love listening to all sorts of stories:)

I like hearing interesting stories from other people.I am a listener too.I think listening patiently is a respectful behaviour to the people who are talking with you, even though they are telling you a boring story or something you are not interested in.I like listening to the old people talking about their old days very much.There are always some interesting stories and experiences that I can't have in my whole lifetime.

Hi, if the speaker is nice or say affluent in the art of story telling I am the best listener. But if this is other way round I am not there. I do not like to listen patches or disjointed story at any cost.

Secondly liking people is different from liking their story. I might not like the person but like the story and the other way round.

As for me, it will depends upon my current mood. LOL.

When I'm in a good mood, sure I am here to listen to all of your crazy stories. But when I am serious, just be sure that the story your gonna tell me is a serious talk. Am not gonna joke around. But when I'm in a really bad mood, LOL... I'll just zip my mouth along with my ears... xD

I share the same interest with you.I think it has much to do with one's character.usually I am not a lively person . i like to listen but not to talk.of course,listening is also an enjoyment especially when the one who is good at telling a story.i like to listen,because i can learn a lot form what they say and can give them some advice to help them.nex time when you run into the same problem,you can solve it easily.So listening to others has so many advantages,why we don't listen?

i always try my best to listen even if i am not in a good mood...the story teller would appreciate it better I think... i feel bad if no one listens to my stories:-)

One of my all time favorite things when I was growing up and still now is listening to my grandparents tell stories about the "good Ol' days". And my grandma always has a good story. If its about stealing some guys car on halloween as a joke or just remember who belongs to what family it was always a great time with our family. I really appreciated that my grandma would take the time to tell us all stories. Its kind of a family tradition, its not that we plan it out, but it just happens. We all, I come from a huge family, love to sit around and listen to my grandma or my grandpa tell stories about when they were in WWII and the adventures that my grandpa had over in India. The things he saw and the trouble that he and his buddies would get in for doing stupid things in their group. Great times!
