What are the five best concerts you've ever seen? | | | | What are your top five favorite concerts you've ever seen? I'm trying to think if there are even five concerts I've seen in my life - most were back in college. One in high school. I saw Kiss in 1975, the Kiss Alive Tour. First concert I'd ever seen. Stuff blew up, Gene spit fire, then blood. Holy cow. So what are your top five. I guess these are in order of best first. 1. 1978 Rush and 38 Special 2. 1978 AC/DC 3. 1975 Kiss (again in 1977) 4. 1977 Boston 5. 1981 Journey I had tickets to see the Who play in Cincinnati in 1979 when those six people were killed in a human stampede, but I had just gotten out of the hospital from a broken jaw and my cousin was getting married the same night of the concert so I sold my ticket. So gimme your top five. Oh yeah... I'm going to see Crosby, Stills and Nash in Charleston this summer. | | | | | | | | | | Plants Indoor Find Plants Indoor Online. Free Shipping $50 on 100,000 Items! | | Wow! I would absolutely LOVE to see Kiss and AC/DC live! Especially back then! My mom absolutely LOVES Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young - Neil Young I think?) and paid a VERY pretty penny for her concert tickets to see them a couple of years ago. Are your tickets ridiculously expensive for that concert, too? I haven't really ever seen any BIG bands play live, but here are a couple that I really enjoyed back in high school (I'm in college now) when I was really into the "punk" scene: 1.) Rancid - I had been a fan for at least 4 years before seeing them and they totally lived up to what I had expected of them. 2.) The Distillers - They weren't AMAZING, but I'll always remember that concert. 3.) MEST - The lead singer, Tony Lovato, told jokes throughout the whole show. It was pretty entertaining. 4.) The Offspring - flippin' amazing! I saw them at an outdoor concert with LOTS and LOTS of people, and they just had SO much energy! It was infectious! 5.) Good Charlotte - I saw them when I was in 7th grade. So..About 6 years ago! It's amazing how time flies. This was the ONE concert where I wasn't in the mosh pit, and it was actually a nice change for once. They weren't all that amazing live, but I figured since they're the only semi-famous band I've ever seen live, I should probably mention it. . Now that I'm naming them off..I've definitely seen quite a few more! | | | | | | | ORyansBelt2012 (2111)

| | Oh, I saw the Kilroy Was Here tour by Styx, fab! Sting - hey, the tickets were FREE!!!! Stevie Nicks, more free tickets. Elton John - a DATE!!! Saw Arlo Guthrie TWICE for free! Moody Blues and like Styx, I paid for those tickets! Jefferson Starship - well I think they were just Starship by then, travelled to Houston to see that, and I went down to Houston to see Paul (picture hearts and stuff here) McCartney back when Linda was alive - at the Astrodome (terrible place for a concert.) I mean, I saw a lot of shows, but those are pretty memorable. I mean, I saw the Animals, the Beach Boys (twice), Paul Revere and the Raiders, the Monkeys runion tour, Herman's Hermits (well, they were at the reunion too, but saw them headline.) Walked out of Deep Purple, that was memorably bad. | | | | | | | ORyansBelt2012 (2111)

| | Styx, the Grand Illusion Tour at the Indiana State Fair. Rainbow with Richie Blackmore and Krokus - that one was forgettable. Asia was good during their brief shine in the light. Saw Billy Squire - Everybody Loves You. Saw the Outlaws and Blackfoot, Journey from the top row of the old Omni. Also saw John Denver, Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash. Oh yeah, Harry Chapin too. That one was good. | | | | miamilady (2490)

| | I wish I had seen the Kilroy Was Here tour. Something had me looking up stuff about that recently. I think it was an e-mail that my dad sent out about the original "kilroy" and I was curious what the connection was, so i went on an internet journey. lol It looks like it was an awesome show. | | | | | | | LA Concert Listings Find Los Angeles area shows. | | I think I may have only seen 5 concerts in my entire life. Okay, maybe six or seven... I won't list them in chronological order. My brain doesn't work that way. Guns n Roses Billy Joel - twice (once it was him and Elton John) New Kids on the block - yes really! Tiffany opened for them Poison! Again Yes really! ummm Jefferson Starship (after the airplane turned into a starship?) Triumph - I think they were along with Jefferson Starship Madonna Robert Plant (and whatever group was backing him up at the time) Okay, so it was eight. The two concerts that I didn't get to see, which I might have traded for all the ones I did see? Van Halen - I was fourteen and my mother thought I was too young to go to a concert, I guess she was right. Prince and the Revolution - I was on a highschool trip to Europe - One friend actually chose not to go on that trip and probably lost a big deposit just to go to that concert. I knew better than to even THINK about doing that. | | | | | | | miamilady (2490)

| | I keep forgetting Jimmy Buffett, I saw him twice. You know who Triumph is? Wow. I have three Triumph albums, not the CDs, albums. I can play one of their songs on guitar (well even). Lay It On the Line. Boy you are entrenched in that 80s big hair rock scene aren't you. Well, 80s big hair and Prince weird hair. Feelin like gettin into a little Morris Day and the Time, Jungle Love. Oh-ee-oh-ee-oh, oh yeah. | | | | ElicBxn (24693)

| | My first concert was Deep Purple with Aerosmith as the opening band. It was in 1972 or 1973. Probably the best concert I've ever gone to was Cat Stevens in 1976 for his Majicat Tour. The backdrop for the concert was cartoon artwork which he had done himself. The second best was Foreigner with the giant jukebox. The opening act was Gary Wright who did Dreamweaver. This concert was either in 1976 or 77. Rounding out the top 5, but in no particular order are: The Beach Boys, The Allman Brothers, Peter Frampton. This last one was in the late 80's and since it was an outdoor concert I brought my son. We got there very early so were able to get a spot right in front of the stage. At the end of the concert, Frampton gave my son his guitar pick (which he still has). | | | | | | | | | | $9.95 Large Display Easel Solid Wood, Adjustable, Portable, Folding Tripod. | | the first concert I can remember going to was when I was about 10 and to me it was all very sureal. It was a June and Johnny Cash concert and turned out that many country/western stars showed up. There was also Buck Owens and Roy Clark there amongst many others, it was like heehaw. in my teens I saw VanHalen and Phil Collins and I can not recall who else. My brother saw Boston. I was supposed to go to the Police but I think I got grounded, I know I was disappointed. | | | | | | | | | | Same-Day Delivery Flowers Delivery Included For Online Orders, FTD Member Florist Delivery www.Flowers.ms/flowers | add comment | | | |

| | I went to a lot of concerts, but I don't necessarily remember them well because I was either too drunk or too stoned. LOL. One in particular stands out in my mind and that was the Monsters of Rock. Couldn't tell you the year, late 70's I think. It was AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Aerosmith and I think there was a fourth band but as I said I don't remember it well. I saw Aerosmith again about 10 years ago and they were much more polished than when I saw them initially. Queen was one of the first shows I saw,so not having seen much I was very impressed. Kansas was good, the lead singer never stopped moving for a second. I still don't know how he didn't suffer a stroke and Yes with the aide of hallucinogenics deserves a mention also. (Hey,I was young.) LOL. More recently, I saw Live and Collective Soul at the Arizona State Fair and was extremely dissapointed. Either I'm getting old or they just didn't give a rats behind. Particularly Collective Soul. Too bad because they are both great bands. | | | | | | | | | | Strunz & Farah Tickets Order Strunz & Farah Tickets Online. 100% Buyer Guarantee. | | Cripes... I can't remember the years, but I'll tell you the artists. They're Van Morrison, Rod Stewart, The Drifters, and many many moons ago, Emile Ford and the Drifters and Brenda Lee. Mine were all well-controlled, indoor venues, so no problems like you had. The first two were at Brighton Centre, the third at Crawley, Hawth, and the latter two, at the Brighton Hippodrome. Van Morrison was fantastic... a very versatile and talented musician. Brightest Blessings. | | | | | | | | | | Business Opportunity Exciting new business opportunity!
