|  Well I got the job. I'm actually a bit freaked out, because I haven't worked for 10 years. Anyway, it will help pay the bills while hubby tries to find something.
Does anyone out there work for JC Penney? I'll be full-time. I was wondering what kind of percentage the company contributes for benefits? I'm sure I'll find out eventually, but I need to make a decision...do I pay for COBRA (the governemnt pays 65%) or do I sign up for the company package? My guess is that they use JCP. insurance, but I'd like to know for sure so I can figure things out ahead of time.

| |  COBRA is pretty expensive so I'm sure JC Penny's company plan will be a better deal. When you start your job they will most likely give you some time to read and fill out any necessary documents so you will have some time to make any decisions you need to make.

| |  Congratulations! I'm glad to hear you got the job. I hope everything works out well for you. I always thought I would like to work for JC Penney. I tried there I don't know how many times. I'm getting SSI now and I'm afraid it might affect my SSI xheck some way. Kathy.
