How easily can you accept someone that turns into gay?  |

 I was watching a video of the reaction of brothers of a famous actor here in the Philippines turn gay, Bebe Gandanghari. Despite everything his family has accepted and respected what he chooses to become now, but still there are those who couldn't just embrace the sudden change.
If that happens in your family, would you accept the person totally? Would you confront him? How would you feel?

| 6. bjcyrix (2895) | 8 months ago |  Of course. Im a very open-minded person and if being like that in public liberates him from the dictates of society, then by all means. For me, it would be better to be true to oneself cause its already difficult to try and fool other people just to please them but its more difficult in pretending, forcing and deluding oneself of trying to become someone they're actually not, just because other people might oppose it.
If fear of non-acceptance from the family is what hinders them from 'coming out', they really shouldnt think thrice. Sure, some people might not want the thought of that and unfortunately the family is one of those people, then the person might really think twice and suppress the natural development of their personality. However, I think that no matter how long or how difficult it might be to accept something that different, at the end of it all, they're the person's family. No one can change that and over time, they will just have to learn and finally accept their family member for who and how he really is.
