I could have slept for an hour while ordering food.....

You should have took off to another restaurant where food prepared is real fast....they should know your complaint, at least the manager or the owner so the slow moving girl taking the order will be given the treatment that she deserves. So did you order, or did you transfer to another food outlet offering better service? Modern business now is dictated by the customers, not by the salesgirl or waitress, or not even the owner. So, we have the freedom to choose the establishment that offers the best service...

I would not waste my time on such a place but then again, you might like the food but not the service. Still, I would immediately take a hike and find another one faster. Cheers!!

That is infuriating! I've been in that situation and I just left without ordering. That is one reason I rarely eat fast food or even dine out in restaurants. When I do go someplace, I know what I want and if I don't, I look up the menu online before I go so I know how many calories I'll be ordering, how much money I'll need, etc. So my "fast food" isn't really fast since I sometimes spend a lot of time before I get to the restaurant deciding what to order!

. Well, I can laugh because it did not happen to me. But if I was the one in your place that time, I would have stormed at the store manager's office and told him/her how fast their service is.

Actually, in such situation, the training crew could have asked for your order while the trainee continued attending to the undecided customer. It's a simple common sense thing but it seems the service crews are just stretching their lull time.

If I am facing your situation, I won't waiting so long to order my food, I will change my mind go to another fast food restaurant. For me I will wait for 15 minutes not an hour to order my food in fast food restaurant.

I feel your pain.. I hate slow service fast food places.. I have had several instances like yourself when the person in front of you can't decide what they want and they are wasting everyone's time. So I have decided that if nobody attends to me withing five minutes of me entering their premises (unless its a long que), I just leave and go to the next available fast food place. But such places should be shut down for lousy customer service.. I can't stand lousy customer service.. I'm spending my money so I desrve some good quality service...

I am not really sure if this is limited to my country. I really take it for granted as normal procedure. Usually in a restaurant when you have a manager training an employee they will have a second register open. Even if they did have the manager and trainee out front to begin with, a restaurant will usually go as far as to pull an employee out of the kitchen to open a second register when there is a line forming.

I would send a complaint to the hotline. They should have one listed on their bag if this is a "Fast" food chain. Note the date, time, and location of the restaurant if you do decide to take this route.
