Because of the Swine Flu in certain areas, there have been a number of activities that have been cancelled or post-poned. Has this happened in your area? Are people staying indoors? What's the mood like?
Hope you're all staying well!!!

When it comes to activities, we do not have anything drastic yet. I haven't heard of instances wherein we're asked to just stay indoors. As of today, the Philippines, is still Swine Flu free, which gives us this little relief somehow.
BUT our government's already started with precautionary measures. Thermal Scanners have been installed in our airports. Our Department of Health seems to be prepared should there be cases. It was reported in the news that we have enough meds should there be cases of Swine Flu. I heard in the news tonight that our hospitals are all on Code White. Also, government agencies have become even more strict with hog and swine farmers, making sure that the pigs were given vaccine and at the same time the farms are clean and well-maintained.
It seems that we are prepared... The people are made aware of the virus... But still, I hope we continue to be Swine Flu free.

I hope it all works out. Sounds like things are in place. Preparation is key and the fact that people are aware makes it easier to handle. I wish you all the best.
