Daniel Faraday killed by his own mother

I seen Daniel get shot but did he die? I missed that, I recorded it maybe I need to go check it out again. I don't think Jack and kate will detonate the bomb, something will problay stop them. Unless their fixing to end the show, then they might. If what Daniel said was true, that if they could stop everything from happening that they wouldn't crash on the island. that would be it wouldn't it? What do you think

I think that Jack and Kate will be able to detonate the H-bomb. I think that is one of the reason that some of them that are dead are able to come back and have conversations... because they have alter everything,. when the bomb goes off..
and they are really alive. Because they were never killed..

Who really knows for sure that Daniel is dead. I was not surprised to know who is father was! Perhaps Miles' father will realize that Miles' is indeed his father. The what ifs are really keeping me hooked into this.

From what I've heard, next season is going to be the last season, so if they do detonate the bomb it won't quite be the end of it. I don't Jack and Kate will detonate it though, they both looked horrified. I'm going to guess that Ben and Locke find their way back in time just in time to set it off. You know one of those nutcases would do it.

It is just so awesome and I am so confused!! I love this show with all its twist and turns. Does Sun find Jin? Charles Whidmore is Daniels Father? Wow!! Can't wait to see how it wraps up. And Clare just wondered off into the night, will she reappear?

I'm not sure Daniel is really dead. Who knows? Maybe he'll show up in another episode.
I don't know who will be next to die. To be honest, this show has got me pretty confused. With all of the time travel, and the flashbacks and flash forwards, it's getting harder and harder to follow the story. I've actually begun losing interest in the show this season.

Well, from the clips for next week, it looks like Jack wants to go through with it but Kate doesn't think it's going to work. I can't imagine Richard Alpert just letting them detonate the bomb as this would destroy the island completely, and the only thing the others and the Dharma folk agree on is how great the island is.

I wonder what will happen to them if the bomb explodes. That makes me pretty confused. I figure they will just woke up somewhere in the future that will be completely changed. But will they remember what happened?

Also, about Daniel dying... could it be that he was wrong? Maybe they can't change the future after all.

all I know is that last night's episode had so many moments of "omg" that I feel more lost than ever! I really didn't expect Daniel to be dead. I don't understand why he went into the others' camp the way he did unless he knew he was supposed to get shot by his own mother. he definitely went in there very aggressively. the couples issues last night kate and jack, sawyer,juliet and kate, it was interesting the way they turned on each other. i wish that sawyer would just forget kate, she is trouble for everyone. jack annoys me because he is just so confused by this point in time that daniel really had come across as being a lunatic and jack believes him? he never believe locke for the longest time. and locke, omg, what is up with him? his behavior last night made ben look like a good guy. i thought for sure when john and ben and richard were in the woods together that ben and richard were going to jump him. maybe they should have. he is crazy! and what is with these people on the island. like we really need new faces? there are so many other people we had started to care about and we don't know their fate? as far as a hydrogen bomb being the source of this energy that enabled them to time travel, i am confused. also if jack blows up this bomb, won't it kill him and everyone else on the island? isn't it crazy to think that it won't?
maybe kate isn't so crazy after all.
miles and his dad having a moment was odd. how sayid just up and went with jack was a little out of character. hard to believe next week is the season finale and then we only have one more season. last nights episode angered me a little because i don't really accept the way things are going. i still want to know how it is that richard never ages but everyone else does. and he told sun that he watched jin and the others die? how come he lived through it? still too many questions. i don't expect that we will have them all answered but i am angered by daniel's death because they made such a point to explain him to us, his past and all and then they just up and kill him?

What really thrilled me out was that Daniel's mother had memories about killing him. Daniel's last word were 'You always knew' because he realised that his mother didn't prevent him to get back to the island (oh not at all, she almost forced him to get back) even if she knew that the younger she would have killed him.

My question is: is she trying to change the future with this action or has she sacrified her son to keep the present as it is? Because the fact she remembers killing Daniel makes me think that maybe she also remembered what came next, and if she does whatever the young she, kate and jack do will lead to the present she is living. Ok that's a bit confusing I guess, but it's really hard to make assumpion about LOST... and maybe that's why I like it!
