 I have used Mylot to fund my blog network over the past couple of years, which is now up to just over 30 blogs.
I notice that a lot of Mylotters have free blogs on blogger.com about how to make money online.
I have 3 make money online blogs but the rest of my blogs are based on hobbies that I enjoy and spend money on.
I was curious as to how many Mylotters have blogs about how to make money online and how many have blogs other than MMO blogs.
What kind of blogs do you have that you make money with?

That's the thing about blogs the content you put up there stays there and when the search engines index your blog post you get more attention and visitors from those search engines.
Putting up more and more content over time will only help you.
The real key to getting your blog moving is to start getting backlinks to your blog posts. Not to your main page, it will take care of itself.
I like to go to other blogs. They must be related to your own blog in some way. Then I leave good comments that add value to the post. This will get the attention of the blog owner and also people that read your comment will follow through to your site if they like what they read. So always make your comments worth reading.
If I go to a blog and see a post I would like to comment on I do a couple of things.
1. I look through my blog to see if I already have a post that related the post I want to comment on. If I have one I will link to it in URL box.
2. If I don't have a blog post already I will create one on my blog and then I can use that link with the comment.
A link is so much more valuable when it is related to your own blog post.
You only need to spend a few minutes creating a blog post.
You would be wise to spend a good amount of time getting links back to your internal pages on your blogs. | |

2.  cbhomework (434) | 7 months ago |  Well, i joined the blog world only recently. To tell you the truth I don't like blogging much, since I don't like updating a lot. If I update, I change completely the site and so it takes some time. However I found that the themes are very simple to use and currently I really like the way my blog looks, except maybe for the ads part. And yes it is about making money online.

How much time do you spend on them since I see that they are quite time consuming. I wrote my blogs to bring people to the attention of things I noticed going on around me and wanted to share these things with the world.

I like to make my blogs more local so that those looking from things happening around them they find me for the various niches I have.
An example would be my garden blogs. I talk about the flowers, vegetables, trees and shrubs that grow locally and places to go to find them locally.
I like to write a few reviews on things I use in my garden of course using my affiliate links.
I also have an ebay account so I use a Wordpress plugin that makes the keywords I chose become links to products I sell on eBay, even though they are not my own products.
Making things localized has made a huge difference in my bottomline. | |

Like you I have many blogs covering a wide variety of interests, the amount they earn varies from blog to blog and what income stream I am using on it. Of those blogs I have a two or three that could be considered make money online blogs, but more in the sense that they offer advice or suggestions rather than linking out to a myriad of paid to action programs (I don't do them:-) )
I love coming up with new topics and creating new blogs etc so I'm sure the amount will grow.

I have four blogs on blogger.com. One is about my travel accord arround the world, it is written in English, one is my life in the UK, it is written in Mandarin, the third one is about my understanding of English Language, the last but not least the blog is about my experience of making money on internet.I want to tell people which websites are reliable and really pay us.
I also join the Google adsense so I can post ad on my blogs, but just a couple of clicks.
I also want to have a blog on mylot,but i have no idea how to do it yet. I still need time to know myLot well.
