What do you think of faith?Essential,or just meaningless?  |

 Well,my parents and I had a fiercely debate over faith and we disagreed with each other.I am really annoyed and unhappy.
They think it's nothing and laughed at me for taking it so seriously.
I have been searching for my dream for a long time.When I was a child,my life was planned and now I want to change.I want to control my own life.However,now I don't know if I have faith.Every time,when I talk about faith,they think poorly of it.In their opinion,it is useless.I can't get support from them and I'm getting really doubtful about myself.I don't have confidence and I don't know if I can succeed.
I think faith is really essential.Without faith,I'm nothing.With faith,we can fight for our dreams.Maybe the reality will let us down,but we will keep on fighting,won't we?
What do you think about faith?Essential,or just nothing?Waiting for your responses.

1. SultanaH (52)  | 7 months ago |  Faith is food to the soul. That's what I think. It's faith that keeps one go on and be strong in life.
As for your question whether it is essential or not, ask yourself first. If it is essential to you, so it is. If faith helps you go on, let it be so. Who cares if others think it rubbish? It is you who has to live your life not others. Not even your parents. So believe and have faith all you want as long it is good by you.

im not saying that people that need faith are weak or anything.. just some people need something and others dont for some reason

One thing my faith teaches me is that you have to accept that your parents will think differently and love them inspite of that.
Hope you will find peace in your heart and they will also accept your faith one day.
