My First Attempt At Chainmaille Jewelry  | |  I have been seeing a lot about chainmaille jewelry, and I thought I would try it. The lovely pendant came from Art Beads, and is Island Paradise. Then I made the necklace part using aluminum colored blue, and green jump rings. The result is this lovely necklace, available in my Etsy store. The aluminum jump rings, are new to the market from Fire Mountain Gems, and they are light, and not heavy on the neck. I will be making matching earrings soon. What have you created lately?

I am rather good at making cookies though, but when you speak about jewelery, my mother mad a necklace with green leaves years ago. I do not know if I have it still or my brother has it, but it was much better and durable then the ones you get today that are strings with beads in them and that I tend to break. I am allergic to nickel and I have sensitive ears so I have to use gold or sterling silver.
I like that necklace. I was wondering whether you can get the parts in any craft store?
