Caffeine on Headaches |
|
Hi!! If you are suffering from constant headaches..I suggest you should cut down on caffeine. Yes, caffeine can increase muscle tension and your anxiety level. It also creates difficulties in sleeping which can cause headaches. Another problem is that many people drink several cups of coffee a day during their work week but cut their consumption on weekends. This can lead to weekend caffeine withdrawal headache..That's why it's recommended to those people to slowly decaffeinate themselves. Yes it should be done gradually, not in an abrupt manner. Decreasing your caffeine intake by one half cup per week is more than enough. So,please try this out....I am also trying to take less coffee. Happy Mylotting!!

1. akiong (293) | 9 months ago | I was caffeine addicted and had the problems as you said. But now, I'm free from caffeine. It was very hard for me to free myself from caffeine addiction. I like chocolate drink and I drank a lot. I realized I was addicted. I tried to avoid the drink, but I failed. I just can't stop it. I didn't give up so easy. So I tried to change my habit of drinking chocolate became drinking tea. As I know tea has lower caffeine level and it is good for health. And step by step I drink milk to replace tea.
Coffee, chocolate, tea are great. They make you feel better, you're more confidence, you can concentrate better, you no longer sleepy even you don't have enough sleep. But please consider the side effects bellow:
- Coffee may darker your teeth - Difficult to sleep at night - Anxious - Headaches - Unable to concentrate - Appetite decreasing - Always feel want to urinate - Bad temper
Some of the effects above only happen if you try to decrease or stop caffeine intake. For your information, I needed about 1 year to totally free myself from caffeine. But I'm glad I can.
Wish you success soon!
