Do your cats lay in odd places?

OMG!! I thought my cats were the only ones
to do silly stuff like that. My EB (female cat)
got under the counter last night. And I went
to get her out cause I thought she would have an
accident under there and she gave me the woeful look
like, "Mommy, please let me stay!"

It broke my heart.

My cat's favorite place to sleep is in my husband's lap! It drives my husband crazy. Other than that, he loves to sleep on the windowsill behind the curtains where no one can see him. He is a strictly indoor cat, otherwise I am sure he would be climbing trees all of the time.

I have 2 cats. My tabby, Kitsie, always sleeps on our garden wall which is very thin so how she keeps her balance only her and her 9 lives know. My other one who is only 4mths old,jane, tends to try and sleep on my husbands head at 3am in the morning and other times she curls up with our jack russel for a nap.

both of my cats are inside cats. They really do not sleep any place strange but my male cat loves to sit in the bath tub. Whenever I can not find him that is the first place I look.

I'm assuming your kitties have no trouble in getting down from the trees..LOL
Well my cats have always been indoor cats, and yes, they manage to find some odd places to sleep....Pyewacket is up in the kitchen cabinet over the refrigerator as I write this. Also, I HAD to keep the middle section of my bookcase headboard clear....so much for putting books there, as he likes to snooze there as well.

Kissy seems to be more inventive and likes to get behind the space of my computer desk and also manages to crawl under the dresser (how she manages that I'll never know as she's a bit...uh, chubby)---she also loves to get into one of my closets and sleep there. I now have to check it before I close the closet since of the latest episode that made me feel guilty. The other night I went to bed as usual, thinking nothing of it...about eight hour later I get up, and start fixing breakfast and of course feed the kitties...Pyewacket was in the kitchen with me and didn't notice Kissy around, but then I figured she was in one of her other spots. All of a sudden I hear this strange scratching sound coming from the closet...yup--you guessed it...Kissy. Which meant she had been in there the whole time....I felt so guilty. Of course, Kissy was milking it for all it was worth and just LOVED the extra attention I was giving her.

I have lots of places my cats like to sleep, but on top of me is a favorite

my cat likes to lay on things.. remotes.. anything.. you would think something poking you while your laying or sitting on it would be uncomfortable but its like he think he is a bird on a nest or something

I have a kitty who sleeps next to the rice cooker/warmer. And the mother sleeps in the book cabinet. Before that the mother slept on top of my dvd player. So, when I played dvd, the machine sounds like a motor running. What a nasty cat!:)

My Cat is an indoor cat and sometimes I catch him curled up sleeping in the tub...And he HATES baths lol...Too cute...

awww! how sweet. i no longer have them but yrs ago we had one that would get out on the window air conditioner and sleep no idea why. lots of times they would also climb into paper bags, play a while, then sleep in them. one used to sleep on my window sill but i guess thats common.
